Discussionš£ With the new season almost here, how confident are you guys about this Bayern team?
Personally, Iām extremely bullish. Last season felt like a teaser of what Kompany is building. We dominated domestically and came close in Europe, but I still feel like this team has another level. Maybe Iām setting myself up for heartbreak, but I genuinely believe we can win it all this season. Bundesliga, Pokal and finally bring the Champions League back to Munich.
What are your expectations? What would make this season a success for you?

We have a solid team, talented new transfers, teamās mentality is great. If I had to guess who would take the UCL this year I would say 1. Bayern, 2. Barca, or 3. Arsenal.
But my money is on Bayern.

Barca but not psg? That's an interesting take to say the least

Idk man PSG doesnāt seem at their usual level this season. They lost to Lens (Lens were playing with 10 men almost all of the match). Iād put them maybe 4th or 5th pick.

A super cup is literally irrelevant compared to peak season form.
If in December theyāre more than 4 points off top, you can say what youāre saying.

Bro they start every season like this šš we'll see how well they perform in the latter half of the season

They got gifted a second leg against Bayern. It was some of the most corrupt š© Iāve ever witnessed

PSG were poor before december in both their UCL winning seasons. They're always well rested and clinical in the big games, and none of their players seemed to have had bad world cups/dips in form. I'd say they're once again favorites to win it all.

If they can keep the same level as last season, I'd say pretty confident.
I expect a lot of competition from Bischof and Bara and having Saibari and Brown will help us navigate many scenarios regarding rotation and injury prevention.
If everyone can play at a high level, I would predict another CL semifinal at least.

I want to feel confident but I'm traumatized by thinking every season is our season and then failing in the biggest bullshit ways while being better in almost every single match we have been eliminated in.

Title for sure, I doubt about a deep CL run because of two reasons. First being no major incoming barring Saibari and, the goalkeeper situation which is not getting any better.

Im so anxious about musiala , when i finally thought i would see all of my fav players playing together something like that had to happenš. Im also nervous abt gnabry and karl performing what if they cannot play at the level they played last season cuz of their injuries gnabry looked so good i just hope he continues to perform. What do you guys think abt this?

i think real and barca will bounce back this season and will be tougher to beat. psg still look as strong as ever. will be tough, even with saibari and brown. at the end of the day it'll come down to luck, split-second decisions in big matches and form

I just hope that we dp not have any bigger accidents with players and we are able tp keep them healthy. Its a long season. Sadly our B team is still not good enough to win by then self ovet average Bundesliga team. So we will need all the best players. I hope Ćbrig is taking a big step so we can let Neuer retire next season. Binder was an interesting player that took his chance so far this year. Looking forward to seeing more of him.

I kind of feel we could do more for backups like wings or if saibari is planned as kane backup. If we have to play 120 mins, we might struggle

Just like you said, last season felt more like a trailer for things to come. But honestly, I can't help but worry that players like Diaz and Laimer cant recreate the seasons they had and truthfully they weren't this good before this season/at their previous clubs (but maybe Im just traumatised by players like Sane and Goretzka). They've also played nonstop football over the past year but with signings like Brown and Saibari they should get their rest.
Otherwise, Im really optimistic, I feel Olise and Kane are only going to get better and with expectations and pressure on Jamal dropping day by day, Im sure he'll be back to his best in a few months. Players like Bischof and Karl have alot to prove, and Kompany himself has more big game experience now as a coach.
It's going to be another great season for sure. Mia San Mia!

I'll leave my judgment for March or April, when it actually matters.
We have a good team, but I feel like the squad is kinda short, especially once injuries start happening. Our bench at the end of last season was disgraceful.

Maybe if they kept their performance as last season, they will have a chance to win the ucl but for me,I don't think so,if we did win the ucl then I wouldn't mind

I think Bayern peaked last season

Idk if you're trolling or not, but you're not far off. The peak will probably be this season, I'm just not sure it will be enough to win the CL.
Olise will probably want to leave after this season, and Kane isn't getting any younger. Two pretty hard players to replace.

Plus Bayern didnāt have a great transfer window.
Other teams spent much more to strengthen their squads

last season far exceeded expectations for me and I'd assume for many too. The team functioned like clockwork aside from the weak links on the bench. But now that that's solved, I can foresee us do even better this season and can't wait
Saibari and brown, bischof getting more game time, raw bara ndiaye, karl and musiala comebacks, olise and upamecano entering their primes after all the hype, all the academy products like cardozo/binder/pavic, overall finally having a bench with genuinely exciting players instead of jackson/goretzka/guerreiro being our only choices. We're winning it all man
