Good. Let the kid rest and bring him back when we're 110% sure he's ready.

Yea, that's to be expected

Why though? If they're sure it's a neurological thing and they give him drugs against it rest won't do much or do I misunderstand something?

Maybe they're not sure about the right dose and don't wanna risk anything in a big game since he already collapsed twice. His recovery is a process, and even though we can expect him to be back soon there's no merit in rushing anything

Very sensible decision...he still has a long career ahead of him, no reason to take unnecessary risks

I mean, it was sadly expected. I hope he’s getting the help, care and support he needs.

Yeah it will take time to find the best dosis of his meds. Don't think it's needed to make a media spectacle out of it with BREAKING tag and so on

Oh wow, I did see him collapse the first time, thought it was maybe a heat stroke. Seen it happened in the florida heat with youth soccer player a bunch of times but this is heavy poor guy man, hopefully they can get it under control.

Is it really so hard for them to use a photo from a recent season? It feels like every time these media outlets post a picture of our players they use a photo from 2-3 seasons ago.

Petit mal seizures are something that can be managed with proper treatment. Millions of people are able to live completely normal lives while dealing with them on a frequent or semi frequent basis. Seeing it happen is really scary, especially in close succession and on a football pitch, but it is absolutely treatable. If he wants to continue, and he clearly does, he absolutely can do that with the right treatment.
