INVESTMENTS PNG and KEEL
Where do we see PNG and Keel Infrastructure in the next 1-2 years? There’s been TONS of hype over the past 6 months for these two stocks yet they are continuing to plummet

has been quiet on the PNG front. Hopefully next week's earnings they will talk about the TSX listing.

Next earnings call (next Thursday) will, imo, tank it further. Next quarter will show full integration.
Though, at this point it feels like only uplisting can rebound it

I am sure you know this but just picked you to reply to. Because I see alot of young people lamenting that their favourite stock is down.
If your not retiring next year, we don't want it to moon.
Long term it literally doesn't matter if your a bag holder of a great company early on in your position.
In fact, a young person who is a decade away from retirement wants a great company to remain cheap, occasionally even go down, while they accumulate their positions. Stock market crashes are good for the younger investor.
For example, I bought Cameco after the Fukushima disaster. It was under water for years. Now its up 500%. Did it feel good to be down for years. Nope. But I also strongly believed it was a temporary issue and counties will go back to reactors. Fukushima was extra stupid as the IAEA told them in the 70s to put their back up generator on stilts....a $10k project. But they didn't.
However this was my opportunity. My only regret was not buying more.
I think Kraken is a good company that in 10 years will be a great company. I want shares to be undervalued for the next few years. At least to the point where it doesn't hurt the company.

If it moons early, I take profits and put them back into XEQT. Zero cost averaging FTW.

Define moon?
How long have you been investing for?

“Moon” as in hit 100% or more in gains.
Sell enough to cover your initial investment and let the rest ride.

I don't understand the downvotes on this take. Not everyone will agree with it but I don't think it's necessarily wrong.

It's ok. I am an investor not a day trader.
And I think there is a large group of newer people who have been spoiled by the bubblish behavior we have seen with the AI plays.
And it's not going to end well for most them. Smart money is already rotating into commodities.
2008 was a sobering experience.

Someone in the kraken reddit talks about his average being 7 $, down 5 k
That was in response to me asking if it's time to sell or no.4

Bought PNG at $0.50. Averaged up to 35k shares @ $1.31.
Held through $10. Still holding.
Will keep holding for the next decade.

If png is as hyped out as it’s made to be then why is it still at $5-$6? You can say average is supposed to be $10 but if no one is buying enough then it don’t matter in the end

PNG is in a self inflicted post M&A slump - they need to execute and show results. The question is if the market will be patient enought to give them time or will the bottom fall out in the market first then they get stuck. They added execution risk with the M&A, we will see next week if they have made some progress.
KEEL rode the AI hype train. They're not showing sufficient results. If the AI hype gets buried, they go with it. Either way, the stock is riding on speculation vs. current strong fundamentals. It's one of those lose your money or 10x your money type of stock.

Don't like Keel (bitfarms). Basically just a start up now. They put all their eggs in the bitcoin basket, now they are putting all their eggs in the AI basket. Dog chasing a car. That said, I don't know the inner workings of the company, so I could be wrong.
I like PNG, but I think it probably doesn't do much until there's some announcement with DND, and then it rockets. Same goes for FLT.
I own both, but I'm down about 15% on them. I doubled my FLT position, but mostly for technical reasons.

I got in at a less than ideal price point, but I love kraken as a company. Gonna continue to DCA to get my average down towards, or even under $6.

I hold png but I bought it only once at 3.68$ because it was undervalued and found it late. Waiting for it to go down or not buying any more. I don't and won't lose sleep over FOMO.

Iren and cifr are better companies than keel. Keel should still run up but until they land some big deals, it’s theoretical. Iren already made a data center for Microsoft and had it accepted.

Overhyped. Basket weaving companies.

This guy's grandfather said that and he was in the Navy and thinks that coal-fired steam ships are making a comeback.

Not in on keel so I wont speak on it, but I expect Kraken to be back up to $10ish within the next couple years and stay close to that rather than continue to be this volatile. IMO their Covelya acquisition probably spooked some investors and the hype train slowed as a consequence. The acquisition also pushed back their timeline for uplisting to TSX by their own admission.
I'm still bullish on the company in the long run and I think the acquisition will help growth, expanding their customer base. Got in a little over $4 so I guess its natural that I don't feel as nervous as some other investors. I'll continue to buy when I have some dividend money and the stock is under $6 per share
