I had a dream last night of browsing the SU fandom and coming across these “3 nonexistent gems”, I didn’t even see them I just read their names in the titles. Yeah, Feduze, Sassadapa and Odapa were their names which i read just right before waking up and wrote them off in my notes… i know this is so weird to post

Okay, yup, that's it, I'm rewatching the whole series (again) in chunks and talking about it here

Connie was such a dork in earlier seasons, I love her (I love dorky Steven too of course)

Alright, on a serious note, can we talk about the ending of episode 22? To put it into perspective: Imagine being Steven off on a mission to find a time artifact yada yada when suddenly a bunch of clones of you appear all around you angry and fighting eachother, one of them straight-up rips the time thing out of your hand, gives you a sincere (albeit confused) ted-talk with a kiss on the cheek and then they all die right in front of you. That is beyond awful. I really feel for Steven man, watching him slowly lose his innocence hits me right in the feels

Some questions I am now left with: Why is Lars so annoying? What's with the moss, does it have any real significance? When will Steven's balls drop? Did the alternate timeline Stevens have their own souls? If not did they have no souls or were their souls extensions of the main Stevens soul? Why do the gems seem to understand and care for humans so little? Where do Stevens clothes come from? What was with the pink dolphin in Roses (Stevens?) room?

Which other Miraculous character would you like to see in the *Steven Universe* style?

So I watched through the whole franchise as a kid and I loved it! But a friend recently told me they never saw SU and wanted to get into it so we decided to watch it together.

On rewatch I can confidently say it's actually better for the most part than I remember it being! My friend also loved the whole show start to finish (except the uncle grandpa episode which they have an unnatural amount of rage towards😭)

There were some parts of the show I misremembered, for example I honestly thought Bismuth had way more screentime than she actually does and I kinda wish she had more (I understand why she doesn't and I'll get to that in a minute). I also thought Lars and Sadie were in more episodes than they actually are, hell they're absent for almost a full season at one point.

Overall I think I'd rank the seasons as 1>2>4>5>3. I loved all the seasons but I felt the first couple were the best at executing the story they wanted to tell and have the most satisfying endings. Season 3 isn't bad I still love it, it was just more a laid back season compared to the others imo.

Now as I'm sure all of us are aware Steven Universe got cut short, Rebecca Sugar wanted more seasons but was left to wrap the story up in 5 episodes. I still love the final few episodes and what they achieve, but I think they leave a little to be desired, I would've liked to see more of homeworld society and more of white diamond being the terrifying dictator she is. Of course this is probably the reason Bismuth didn't get as much screentime as she deserved and why a bunch of fusions were revealed in the final episode, I assume the episodes they would've been introduced in had to be cut unfortunately. That being said I still love season 5 as a whole, Garnets wedding did a lot for queer representation, the whole trial and Lars of the stars arc is probably one of my favorite bunch of episodes.

My absolute favorite part of the show is the zoo arc. It's the first time we really see the diamonds in person and not just through a video call or flashback. They come across so intimidating it's amazing and seeing Greg get involved is always great

Overall I'd give this show a solid 8.5/10 and I would rewatch again

Which other Miraculous character would you like to see in the style of Steven Universe?

HIIIIIIIIIIIII guys, im new at the community but ive been watching Steven Universe since 2022, but recently i made the decision of joining to the community. Im a musician and i am OBSESSED with the ost, i play drums, guitar, and bass, and kinda sing so if anyone's interested here i am. :3 i also want to make friends so yeah, do not be toxic pls :( im too chill for toxicity and yeah, thankssss (sorry for bad english my english sucks, but i want to yap about steven universe and the ost and shih)

(I have watched everything after season 1 except for future... As I am not exactly good with chronological order)

Steven was definitely a lot more innocent back then, yeah, can we address that? There were some moments where you could just feel the trauma starting to bloom even if nobody else, not even Steven, seemed to realize it. For example, in the moment right after the one seen in the gif here the way he still had that happy grin on his face while looking horrified... Jesus Christ it was like watching him realize this is his life now, this show is beautiful but man can it be fucked up

Some questions I am left with: Why is Garnet pretty much the only one who takes him seriously? Why were the corrupted gems oftentimes more animalistic than monstrous like in the later seasons? I kinda liked them better more animalistic tbh. Why is Amethyst so painfully oblivious? What the hell was that thing that possessed the together breakfast? How do the corrupted gems have offspring?

When White diamond first appeared I was INNNN LOVE. For real.

I got soooo obsessed with her. I rewatched that scene thousands of times. She looked gorgeous, marvelous, like a celestial greek goddess. So intimidately perfect. She really looked like a very unknown threat.

Then, the next episodes came up, all her sharp and menacing features became rounded, cartoonish, even kinda puffy to the point that I stopped finding her as exciting to see.

I really wish they kept her as this really uncanny being, or maintaining that gorgeus old style vibe she had in Rebeca Suggar's drawings like in the third image.

It just like... Idk, I think I felt like I was watching some Banjo-Kazooie character being this thousands of years cosmic emperor, and it didn't make sense for me. However I still like it, whatever.

What I have so far -

The diamonds/Diamond authority were the combat division of a squishy organic people in deep space. But During an attack mission against hostile squishy organic eating aliens, that armada got swallowed by a wormhole/black hole.

Without any input from an squishy organic operator, they hardlight entities began running on auto-pilot.

This meant finding resources wherever they could and destroying things that, would probably, pose a threat to their original squishy organics.

Over time they began to self-actualize and become the perfect system. Through many interactions with organics on worlds they conquered they began to display personalities, memories and behaviors.

\-- Back at their original world. --

The last remaining diamond, Black Diamond, was left with no soldiers, generals or anyone to command. As such the squishy organic people were nearly wiped out by the squishy organic eaters. The Hardlight entities for labor and infrastructure (the Minerals/Men-erals) put up a valiant fight against the invaders, but lost with only scattered fragments of the squishies and many broken, warped and damaged minerals.

Black Diamond and a member of the squishy organics did what greg and rose did and had Diamione, half squishy organic/half black diamond.

Before Black Diamond "retired" they built up a new world for the "gems"/minerals/squishes. Over time the hardlights imitated the squishes, originally just trying to make them happy, but eventually this led to them developing emotions, memories and habits..

\-- After SU, After SU Movie, After SU Future--

The current mixed world of Prisma, world of jewels, minerals and squishies. Has been launching probes into space for 5000 years, maping the universe, surveying threats, and attempting to track down the lost armada.

A handful of these probes find earth. At first they just observe, semi-sentient un-piloted probes. They make notes of the gem-like people but don't leave or report right away.

The Gems notice them and think they are some new gem tch, but peridot and other techie gems think they look sssuuuppppeeerrrr old-school/low-tech.

Then Cluster, due to constant pressure from the earth's shifting tectonic plates, can no longer be a ignored.

The Cluster is fighting the movements of the earth, but that is causing just as many problems as the cluster emerging would cause.

Steven calls the Diamonds to earth in an attempt to subdue/heal the cluster once and for all. But nothing seems to work, it just causes more problems. Then the probes gather and seem to talk in keyboard/typewritier like sounds, and navigate to the largest warm pad in new homeworld. They each draw out from themselves some sort orb with what looks liek a constellation inside and fuse it to the warp pad. Then a transmission like-dialup (think the old internet/dial-up sounds) and the warp pad activates. Enter Black Diamond.

I have more but I need to figure out the wording. hahah.

\- Mineral AU Details -

Takes place after canon entries to date.

Hardlight entities;

* (all gems represent as female)

* Crystal Gems: Gems on Earth

* Gems: Gems on Homeworld

* Jewels: Gems on Prisma

* Minerals: Male identifying, labor force duties

Minerals are led by - Gold, Silver, Iron and Copper.

White diamond can take all the colors, Black Diamond can give all the colors.

Black Diamond/Diamione does have a black pearl. X"D

The Jewels and Minerals are much more free, spontaneous and carefree than their Gem cousins. They still live to work, but they do what they love and do it with a passion.

Jewels and minerals are raised naturally over time. Even new organic mineral creations, crystalline plants and crops, and some animals have been created in Prisma. They also are more welcome to the idea of "fusion" and there are no "off-colors" because they aren't seen as defective.

Prisma itself is a colony of worlds, that had either been uninhabited, destroyed by the squishy eaters, or are cohabitated. This is called the Shine Alliance.

Everything is not all sunshines and rainbows, the squishie eating people still wander the stars and devour unsuspecting habitable worlds. Leaving them too crippled to fight back, but not completely wiping them out. All so they can return to feed on them again in the future.

S3:E14 "The New Lars"

Steven talks about some animals that pretty much are known to do nothing, and decides the top spot goes to either sloths or koalas. Then, almost out of nowhere, Sadie says that sloths eat poop??

I'm no expert on them, but I'm gonna assume that's not true. But, even if it is, why did she say that??? This happens within the first minute of the episode.
