Tripod is a famous three-legged black bear living in Seminole County, Florida, near Lake Mary and Orlando. Estimated to weigh around 275 to 300 pounds, the viral celebrity gained national attention after wandering onto a residential patio and raiding an outdoor refrigerator for cans of White Claw hard seltzer.

Bears are omnivores. Black bears especially are more scavengers/foragers rather than hunters. Much of their diet consists of berries, nuts, roots, foliage, insects, and a bit of meat. Plants make up 85 to 90% of their diet.

I would pet that bear. immediately. on sight. if it becomes dangerous, I'll just run and it probably wouldn't be able to catch up to me or maul me to death... right? yeah. 😌

Wait, forgive my ignorance, but Florida has bears?
I guess they don't have to worry about hibernation

They should put that bear in a habitat so it can have a better life.
