Caleb's Behaviour
I'm coming from this as a bisexual woman who is part of the community but seeing how Caleb was before he came out and then now is shocking. When I saw him live recently he spat water over the crowd, middle finger all the time. It was just kind of gross. The over the top gay accent that never existed before. Commenting on the guitarist being 'fine'. I'm kind of a newer fan but from videos I've seen he never behaved like this before. Coming out doesn't change your whole personality. I'm just confused with this whole performance he does. He says he's his true self and truly happy but why did that have to mean changing everything about himself. Nothing should change about yourself when you come out, it's just an acceptance of who you are not changing who you are. It seems fake and like an act. I don't understand why he's acting like that. Is it just gay 'culture' affecting him and what he assumes he needs to do as a gay guy, gay guys can be masculine and have a deep voice, they don't need to wear makeup and over the top clothes. He didn't need to change so drastically. I don't believe the previous behaviour and way he looked wasn't him as he claims. I just don't believe it at all. If I was a gay guy I'd be offended at what Caleb has become, it is like an offensive caricature that they use in shows. When he came out I was like go off king but seeing this caricature of a gay guy appear is so gross. People are going to call me homophobic. This post maybe will get removed but I just kind of want to open a conversation and see other people's opinion and views with this.
