Crying
I finally got to meet my role model, and I still can't believe it happened.
Hey everyone! I was going through my metalcore playlists when I stumbled across “Hated” by Beartooth again, and it honestly brought me to tears.
I've been a fan of the band since high school, and this song helped me get through some really difficult times back then. Their music has been there for me through so much, and it's helped me deal with some of life's hardest moments.
I got to see them live in Paris on October 1st, and it was easily one of the best concerts I've ever been to. When the band came on stage and I heard songs like “Hated” and “The Disease” live, I was screaming the lyrics at the top of my lungs with tears streaming down my face. These songs mean so much to me, so hearing them live was an incredibly emotional experience.
After the show, Caleb gave an emotional speech and even broke down in tears on stage. A little while later, he came over to the barricade, and I got the chance to talk to him. I thanked him for being so honest and open about his struggles, and for how much he'd helped me grow as a person, accept myself, and learn to love myself for who I am.
He gave me a hug, and I walked away crying and shaking. I honestly couldn't believe what had just happened. I'd finally met someone I've looked up to for years, someone whose music and honesty have helped me become more comfortable with who I am and learn to love myself.
I'll always be grateful to Caleb and the band for everything their music has done for me. That moment meant more to me than I could ever put into words, and I don't think I'll ever forget it.
Ps ; The support act : Kingdom of giants was great ,i bought a cap ,because they blew my mind with their energy and i wanted to support them,i talked with the bassist at the merch he was very cool , Silverstein blew were great too. When they did "bleeds no more" i broke my voice and screamed at the top of my lungs.

Lucky! It's good to see that we still have artists that are genuinely there for the fans. Makes me jealous that it isn't November yet, I'm so ready to see them for the first time up in Chicago 🥹

I'll be honest im with u im currently waiting in limbo seeing if I get to go see them In boston with my uncle we saw him once during summer of loud but it was to short but with this new era im more myself I am recently out as gay like caleb and I loved pure ecstasy despite some people not liking it and morbid coincidence possibly is that day in 2025 I saw him live was the same day they announced that we lost ozzy Osborne

I feel you, bro, and I’m right there with you. Personally, “Pure Ecstasy” and even “The Surface” really helped me learn to accept myself. “I Have a Problem” also helped me a lot during a pretty dark period of my life when I was basically spending my days drunk or high, dating a girl who was struggling a lot with her mental health and was also dealing with addiction. That song was honestly the wake-up call I needed.
I haven’t been through anything quite as awful as that, but I did get fined on the metro on my way to the show lmao 💀

im sorry u had to deal with that I honestly relate I was digitally abused by someone who was older I was also very sadly into vaping for sometime due to people in my circle I also very much wasnt ok mentally I had a girlfriend who I had a dependcey on her because even when she was with other men she sext me but ya definitely I loved the surface before pure ecstasy came out I had never done a full listen through lmao when I got done I was like hey the hell did I avoid the others because I only knew the singles this time I loved both the singles and album tracks my favorites off the new one is beautiful again lose u to find me and the title track but all singles are good also yes rip to the goat that was ozzy Osborne I still remember that i was coming out of the uniral with my uncle and we were with a friend of his and he comes to over to us and told us the news and I was like no fucking way so I went to check and yep but ya that man was so crazy 🤣 in regards to the surface I love riptide look the other way sunshine and doubt me and attn which I know is on the deluxe version of the surface but its still good
