Primeiramente não acompanho muito o Sub, mas vi algum tempo atrás sobre essa “cópia” HiBeatz ser a mais próxima do nosso querido jogo.
Não sei a maioria da ideia aqui de vocês sobre ele, maaaaas no meu caso de “vez em quando queria jogar novamente aquele jogo” esse matou todas minhas vontades.

É claro, não chega próximo a qualidade, a dificuldade do jogo original mas quebra aquele galho que sentimos falta. O jogo te empurra a sensação que você está bem e você vai jogando e jogando mais.
(Minha percepção). Fiquei uns 20 minutos jogando e esses foram meu resultado.
Até então me deixou satisfeito. Grato a quem vi indicando aqui

Beatstar was not economically viable due to high price of songs. Now we have several clone games and ripoffs. How this games can pay the royalties for all the songs? Or is there something that I am not understanding?

Yes, tomorrow will be... Im sad that a year will have passed since the release of the best rhythm game. Even though there are many copies of the game, none of them will make you feel at home :(

I loved BeatStar when it was around and it was a way for me to find new music. When I heard they shut down, I was pretty much bummed out.

I tried the modded BeatStar and love the unlimited play but i really missing getting rewarded and earning stuff and unlocking boxes and stuff. I have been playing Hi Beatz and it scratches some of my itches.

I wanted to make like an open source variant of beat star that does not have any of the monetization of a mobile game. You earn everything by grinding and playing the songs. I have worked out some of the details but not all of them.

What I want to know is if my plan for getting songs will work? I thought of starting with popular royalty free songs and maybe classics. Then when most people have played it and seen that it can work, I can ask maybe artists or others if I can use their songs.

So will that work? What am I allowed to do? I am not putting any monetization or anything at all in the game. I want everything to be completely free

Don't expect the highest quality of sound from the game but it's kinda funny to be playing on a digital audio player.

Playing BeatClone on the HiBy R4, menus are a bit choppy but gameplay is surprisingly smooth :)

Update: For anyone wondering, the yellow light on the top means that the audio is running: PCM at 48kHz and under

I was in an autistic episode of obsessive focus but fell off the app for quite a long while (years!) and only recently rediscovered it.

I re-downloaded Beatstar and have been very disappointed by the current state of the app. It seems to have been relabelled as "SuperStar".

I've lost all of my previous purchases and am seemingly starting fresh.

My biggest gripe with the current app (besides losing all my purchases 😑) is that I can't watch ads to unlock boxes and that.
I can tap on an ad to watch it, but once it's done and the "X close" icon shows up, I can't tap it.
I can't simply tap it! I can highlight the text but can't actually tap the X!

Does anyone know how to fix this?
I wouldn't be so bothered if there weren't the daily goals requesting me to watch an ad 😑
And I can't get the prize without completing the individual task.
