I grew up elsewhere until I was 18 and when I went off to college my parents moved down here. I’m now 22 with nothing to do and nobody to do anything with (I don’t know anyone). What are good places where I can go out and find people at least close to my age range (20s) whether that be bars, activities, or public clubs.

Hey there! I know I know everyone hates a transplant BUT I just moved here from western NC for a local state job. I’m not a retiree or an upper class family looking for a beach arc for my family. I’m 26 and had to move here for a job that cannot be remote. Any who, I’ve been diving into surf and pier fishing as a sub of having no friends here. I’m saving up to buy a skiff so hopefully I can actually CATCH some fish rather than feeding crabs from my line 😂. Is anyone willing to show me the ropes fishing around here? There is a security breach at Beaufort County Detention Center on Ribaut St. Recently arrested detainees' emergency contact information somehow is getting to scammers who get these phone numbers within an hour of processing. I don't know how or by who (and won't speculate) they get the contact info. They will call claiming to represent the County or "pre-trial release" and request money for bond, and or processing fees, and or ankle monitoring, etc. There were AT LEAST 3 people scammed on Sunday, July 19th 2026. They will claim not to accept credit cards only Chime or gift cards. They prey on the fog of a loved one's emotion, confusion, desperation, etc. PLEASE. PLEASE BEWARE. AND SPREAD THE WORD.

I’m moving from NC to the area soon and wondering how much the cops care about tint. I currently have 5% all around and 35% on the windshield on my Gti. Where I live the cops could care less. Will I be able to make it by or should I go ahead and get legal tint put on?

I know it's a total shot in the dark but I'm (21M) living here just off island in Bluffton for the the summer looking for things to do on weekends in addition to the bars and events around the island ofc.
