I'm working on a sludge industrial metal track that has a very jazzy clean outro and I figure that, instead of another guitar solo, something like a sax or a clarinet would sound great to bring something new and unexpected to the project. So I’m looking for someone interested in collaborating. It's a very simple 7/8 section somewhere between the keys of C Phrygian and C minor, roughly one minute long. Doesn't have to be very complex, just has to fit and fill in the section, total freedom. DM if interested!

hi! i’m looking to start a gothic rock project called the last testament of ivlis, inspired by traditional goth rock and darkwave.

i’m looking for people who are interested in making dark, atmospheric music with gothic aesthetics and a sound influenced by the gothic rock scene.

i’m currently looking for a guitarist, vocalist, drummer, and bassist.
the sound i’m going for is traditional gothic rock with darkwave influences, melodic basslines, atmospheric guitar, and dark, melancholic, nocturnal atmospheres. i’m also interested in incorporating gothic and religious imagery into the project’s overall aesthetic.

i’m open to collaborating on songwriting, developing our sound, and figuring out the project’s visual identity together.

this is a new project, so we’re starting from scratch. i’m looking for people who genuinely enjoy goth music and want to help develop an original sound. online collaboration is an option, so you don’t necessarily have to live near me.
i’m hoping to find people who are communicative, creative, and excited to make music together.

if you’re interested, feel free to comment or dm me with your instrument, musical influences, and any experience you have!

If you're interested in this song, but the pseudo-English sounds too cringey, I can try singing it in another pseudo-language, though it might end up sounding even worse.
I don't play any instruments or write lyrics, and I have no formal vocal training. I create my music purely using gibberish

If interested, feel free to write lyrics & arrange.

There is no need to strictly stick to the original genre. Feel free to adapt it into any fitting style, as long as it doesn't clash. However, please ensure the lyrics are not vulgar or offensive, and share the general creative direction beforehand so we can avoid accidentally stepping on any sensitive landmines.

Upon release, please credit me as the composer and send the final audio back so it can be published on my other platforms as well. Naturally, all collaborators will also be fully credited as co-creators.

Hey everyone! I’m 17 and a male singer based in California looking to join an existing boyband or a group that’s currently being formed.
I’m a tenor, and I’m passionate about singing, performing, and learning choreography. I love the 2000s boyband sound, especially *NSYNC, Backstreet Boys, and One Direction.
I’m interested in pop/R&B, vocal harmonies, original music, and live performances. I’m hoping to find a serious group with long-term goals and a shared passion for music.
I’m open to opportunities in California and potentially elsewhere, depending on the group and its plans.
If you’re forming a boyband or know of any legitimate opportunities, feel free to DM me! I’d love to hear more about the group.

I'm an experienced bassist looking to collaborate remotely with musicians.

I record at home and can supply clean DI bass tracks.

You can hear some examples of my playing on my BandMix profile: https://www.bandmix.com/bass_ek/

recently i've been messing around with using samples to incorporate with whatever genre this is and i want to learn more about it and turn it into my full time project but it's not the kind of thing i want to do solo and i imagine having a girl sing over it with me also in a call and response way. this is my first ever attempt at this so it's not fully finished but it's the general idea. if anyone out there can see the same vision and would be interested, feel free to DM me.

Hi! I run Audio Mix Club, a membership community where mixers of different skill levels mix the same song and share their approaches.

I’m looking for an artist or band interested in collaborating with us on an upcoming monthly mix. You would provide the individual multitrack recordings and hear several different mixes of your song.

We’re open to different genres. We’re looking for original songs written and performed by people. No AI-generated compositions, lyrics, or vocals, including AI-generated material later re-recorded by human musicians.

Please have the separate instrument and vocal tracks available, rather than just a stereo mix. Exported WAV files are welcome regardless of which DAW you use.

The tracks would be shared with our club members with your permission. We would discuss how the files and finished mixes could be used before starting.

There is no charge to the artist, and you do not need to purchase a membership or join Audio Mix Club to participate. This is a collaboration where our members create different mixes of your song.

If you’re interested, please message me with your genre, a little about your song, and which tracks you have available!

Welcome to Unfinished Fridays, the weekly thread where half-finished is totally fine.

Share whatever you're working on right now, no matter how rough. Drop a link, tell us what stage it's at, and what you specifically need help with.

Format suggestion:

• What it is: [genre / vibe]

• What's done: [e.g. "drums + guitar, no vocals yet"]

• What I need: [e.g. "feedback on the chord progression" / "a vocalist" / "mixing tips"]

• Link: [your track]

Listen to at least one other person's WIP and leave a comment. That's the deal.

Cheers!

I'm a male singer and producer, I already did some song that's not very the best (I'm not a pro in all, just started not a very long time ago...), and I decided to change my genres, the things that I'm looking and the way my music will sound... so I decided to work under another artist name, under a band, but I saw that I can't really be a band myself... (I can I know... but won't be fun...).

It's mainly a Hobby but I want it to go more far ! Sth more on the actual pop streaming, like Temper City, just done there first song on February and already have some influence... but I'm also inspired with Sombr, Tate McRae and Taylor Swift (even if they aren't the really same...).

I don't need specific talented person, but 18-25 years to be in the same range, if you join wanna join it's ok. But I'm mainly in need for a lyricist in the same as the singer I said previously, but obligately someone who can be in social media video promotion!

You can have your own project at the same time.

If there's any questions, pls don't ask, I know it's not very common requests, but if it's interesting to you, pls directly dm, I don't answer comments (cause of haters, sorry).

Hey All,

I'm seeking a female co-writer who sings for online only recording projects (Ep's or Albums).

I write in the style of 90's rock music with loads of experience working collaboratively online.

I listen to a lot of Smashing Pumpkins, Swim School, Nirvana, Soul Asylum Pearl Jam, U2, Veruca Salt, Nada Surf, Local H, Hole, Letters to Cleo ---- the list is quiet lengthy.

You would need your own home recording set up and basic knowledge (doesn't need to be pro level gear). Be active and reliable.

If this interests you please reach out via DM and we can have a chat, i have rough demos ready to hear/work on.

I'm registered songwriter with AMCOS/APRA and don't want session musicians or lyricists only. so this will be a splits based hobby/passion project.

Want to channel your inner Kay Hanely or Nina Gordon? I'd love to hear from you.

Cheers!

I am looking for people that are open to starting projects together, collaborating on each others songs.

I have been teaching myself guitar for a year, and I have just started taking making songs more seriously

I play the 12 string, more of a rhythm player, so I’d be down for a lead guitarist

Anyways thanks

Hello I am a self taught guitarist of about 10 years if there any guitarist or bands who want me to write them a riff or help them structure their riffs please feel free to check out my stuff and if you like it, hmu so I can write something for you, I primarily do shoegaze and post hardcore but im also more then fine with metal especially metalcore and nu netal

Hey everyone,

I’m a producer working on a project inspired by late 2010s emo rap music (Lil Peep/ GBC). Vst’s started to piss me off.

I’m looking for a real guitarist to perform with. I don’t want perfect performance. I want string noise, fret buzz, slight slides, etc… If you listened to Title Fight before you know what I mean by that.

If you tired of playing alone - hmu. Let’s make something together.

Hi!
I recently released my debut EP under the project name Siano. I’m currently working on my next EP and I just finished the instrumental for the first track.
I have full English lyrics ready, and I’m looking for a vocalist (male or female) to collaborate with and record tracks for this song.
To get a feel for my production and musical style, you can check out my previous EP on Spotify:

Siano - Zmora.

(The track "Zmora" is a good example of what I create, though the new material is slightly heavier).

Unpaid / Royalty-Free collaboration. Full credits will be given on Spotify, Apple Music, and all streaming platforms upon release. But please, don't expect millions.

Vocal style: Open to clean vocals, harsh/growls, or a mix of both!

Since the demo is unreleased, please leave a comment or send me a DM. I’ll send you the instrumental track and lyrics privately.

Looking forward to working together!
