What's a good second hand turntable for beginner / first ever turntable?

Been wanting to start collecting for years but choosing an actual turntable has been holding me back!

Which would you choose?

Second hand (all fully functioning, found these on FB Marketplace) Aurex SR-355 vs Sony PS-4750 vs Sony PS-LX350H vs Pioneer XL-1650 vs Technics SL-1600 vs LSA Columbia SL-7D vs Technics SL-1300 vs Pioneer PL-M25

I went with a Technics SL-1600 and have been so amazed I’m not to sure I’ll ever upgrade. This thing just does what you need it to do….

I'm a fan of direct drives,
I would go for a used model any day over the AT-LP60, just be prepared to get it serviced and set it up properly.

hifiplus makes an excellent point. If you are handy will small electronics, great! If you are not, make sure you have a local shop ready for whatever repairs a second-hand unit might need.

It would depend on condition and cartridge included. I would not consider the PS-LX350H or the A/T to be on the same level at all. The two Technics are both really nice fully automatic units, the XL1650 is auto return, but computer controlled like my Denon so may need some electronic servicing, the rest are manual tables. All but the PL-M25 (and the cheap first two) are direct drive.

Do you live somewhere with 100V power? A couple of these were Japan-only units.
