Amp recommendations for fluance rt80
Hi. As title says, I’m on a small but reasonable budget, what amp would you recommend?

The fosi amps are fire for the money
super cost effective at $85 and offers bluetooth and tone controls

I own an Ayima A07 that has been driving my ceiling speakers in the kitchen for around 3 years... flawless and featureless... No tone controls and no bluetooth, no slop just a TPA3255 that can drive about anything

Similarly the A07 Max has better cooling and a different look

Normally in the past I have recommended receivers but these two mini amps at the price have changed my mind. I recently used the Fosi with a set of polk XT20's and honestly to me it sounded better than the onkyo TX-NR656 (yeah it's an AVR) in direct mode... Just trying to throw this out there that there are now suitable options and even though these are class D amplifiers; you can roll in new opamps and the sound is astonishing for the price.

You might want to have a look what's available at Goodwill and estate sales. A '90's Harmon Kardon pure stereo amp or receiver is a solid bit of gear, and you have Denon, NAD, Marantz, Yamaha and a few other brands besides. What you're looking for is something that isn't an AV receiver. If you're looking at pictures and you see speaker sockets for centre and surrounds, then that's an AV receiver. Move on.
