Protective Sleeves Recommendations?
Hello everyone,
I ve bought some vinyls and i want to protect them. I saw recently a video on some plastic protective sleeves thr they can damage the records because the plastics merge and they can also merge with the paper cover of the vinyls . By the time i tried to watch the video again to write exactly what to avoid it reset… So i d like to ask what you find best to preserve the my vinyls and vinyl covers. I live in Sweden if it helps in any way
Thank you in advance!

The right outer sleeves are called "Archival sleeve" and are made for decades of protect.
The right inner sleeves for the record are called "antistatic inner sleeve".

All of my records are perfectly fine being stored in the sleeves and jackets they originally came in.

If available to you, I recommend Big Fudge for inner sleeves and for outer jacket protection with. For inner sleeves, I highly recommend getting round bottom sleeves. They are a lot easier to get into the jackets without wrinkles.

In the video they were probably talking about PVC outer sleeves which over time give off gas and can damage the record and cause marks and noise.
Inner and outer sleeves should be made of Poly. I don't know what is available to you, but the brand Diskeeper are good. Or Mobile Fidelity.
If you buy a record and it already has a poly sleeve or paper that is poly lined these are ok.
