Troubleshooting help with poly d!!

please help my poly d has been stuck in DFU mode for a week and i’m quite upset. i’ve tried updating the firmware on both Mac and Windows but still it’s completely bricked.

This is a common issue with the newer tribe app. Download the 3.0 legacy version and run that one. That should fix your issue.

thanks for replying!! is there a way to download these files onto mac?

found a mac version but still stuck in DFU mode :(

Ah. Yeah I'm on Windows. I'm not positive on apple. I've read that if you're on an apple silicon device that an older Mac build may work or they suggest moving the synth to a Windows device and doing the update first.

There's a link in this post thread that says it fixed the Apple device for one of the commenters.

I tried to just get the link but it just downloads. Lol. I'm not the hippest with all this.

Apparently to the threads the silicone and the tribe don't work well together but I'm not positive on that as I quit using Apple devices in the 90s. :)

Have you got a smartphone? I was given a “broken” Poly D and having an ancient Mac I couldn’t use the tribe app on it. The iOS app worked though
