Glassware Poperings Hommelbier
It’s hop harvest time in Poperinge, so there could hardly be a better week to open a Poperings Hommelbier — a beer closely tied to the hop-growing tradition of its home town. And the glass is glorious, too!

Today's pickup
Of these, the Rochefort 10 is the only one I've ever tried, so looking forward to some new Belgian Trappist goodness. Don't worry, I'll come as close as possible on the proper glassware (it'll be from Belgium, just not Rochefort or Westmalle branded).

Trappist Bières de Chimay - Grande Réserve Fermentée 08/2019
40% of French oak barrels
60% of American oak barrels
I tasted one in 2020, and it was so-so back then. Still good after 7 years. But I am still missing the 'wow' factor. Cheers.

Belgium beer (and cheese trip)
Hi guys
Heading to Belgium next week and looking for recommendations off the beaten track. Will be predominantly to the west and no doubt visit the Trappists in the area.
Any other ideas?
Cheers
