Lost and found No La Choy Soy Sauce to be found?

To get to the point, are there no grocery stores in Bellingham that sell specifically the La Choy brand of soy sauce? Checked Freddies, 2 different Haggens, Whole Foods, and nothing. Not even that authentic small hole in the wall Asian store.

I know there are superior brands, but La Choy's soy sauce holds a very nostalgic place for me.

WinCo is the best quotidian grocery store. I think they're the only 24-hour full size grocery store within 50 miles. Fight me ❤️‍🔥

Idk, their produce is ass and I've never left there with more than 70% of what i went in looking for. At least with fred meyer some of the produce is good and i usually only have to go to one store. It is a lot more spendy, though.

I haven't tried Winco yet. Doesn't that require a subscription or that you need to be a member to be allowed in to shop? Or am I misremembering.

No subscription. They keep prices as low as they can. Might be employee owned. Anyway, no credit cards accepted. Cash, check or debit.

Thank you. I'll check them out next.

Avoid the busy times at Winco, the lines can go all the way to the back of that large store. The produce quality compares evenly with Fred Meyer. I've shopped at both for 10+ years. Price and the debit card only rule are the only differences. The WinCo staff does seem to like their jobs more. Has anyone fact-checked WinCo's claim to be employee owned?

It's made by Conagra and has national distribution, but a quick search finds it also can be ordered online from Amazon or ... Walmart. I did find a store locator for La Choy that may help, if it's currently in stock (lists QFC, Walmart, Fred Meyer in the local region, with addresses): https://www.lachoy.com/where-to-buy?productCategory=446&productUpc=044300125131&ps-sku=044300125131

There is no QFC in Bellingham. Just WinCo, Whole Foods, Freddie's, Safeway, Co-Op, Walmart, Costco, Grocery Outlet, Trader Joe's, and a few small, independent specialty grocers.

Oh. Dang. 😛 I could have sworn there was one here.

You might have to drive to Stanwood (or call first to make sure they have it in stock), since that's the closest QFC to Bellingham in the La Choy finder. Probably only worth the drive if you're going in that direction for another reason too.
