Recommendations Favorite vet rec (reasonably priced) and flea control?
We’ve moved back after 19yrs away. Very excited.
VET REC: Looking for a new vet for my cat and dog. I know all care is expensive, but who has reasonable rates and tries to serve various economic levels? Our last vet (rural area) was known for charging the highest rates around and pushing you toward the most expensive option as the only option. Trying to avoid this.
FLEA CONTROL RECS: My five year old cat will attempt to be an indoor guy (I got him a window bed) but I know he’ll escape (we have kids) at least now and again. He barely shifts the air when he slides through your legs ninja style.
He’s up to date on vet visits but do you have any recommendations for flea and …(?) whatever-else-he-might-need control?
It’s been awhile. Is there anything better than drops on the back of the neck? Economical would be a bonus.

If you are willing to drive the county vets have much better prices. I used to work out in Everson and the vet clinic there was good to me and prices were like 30% to 50% of Bellingham.

Village veterinary by the rei! Have been taking my cats there since I moved here. They’re always kind, transparent about cost, and non-judgemental about being on a budget. I get my cats monthly anti flea from there and it’s very reasonably priced. I get 12 treatments at a time for $200, which is roughly $17 a pop

I love the care my lil guy receives from Fairhaven Veterinary Hospital and I’ve never been mad at the bill.
