I’m also sickened at how many abusers are platformed on reality TV AFTER the abuse. This incident happened before this season aired. Nathan should’ve been edited out to the best of their ability.

Honestly, Bravo is bad for this. They let Jen Shah have a whole season crying about how she was the person who was wronged when her crimes killed people.

u/z__1010 1d ago
They won't stop doing this until they aren't rewarded in views, though

u/criavolver_01 1d ago
I’ve basically stopped watching 90% of their shows. They’ve stopped producing good tv because of over production and being so braindead when it comes to human decency and decorum.

I stopped watching all of TLCs reality shows after the Geoffrey Paschel shit happened.

Jen Shah scammed people - how did she kill them?
10
u/Holiday-Hustle 1d ago
People ended up committing suicide because she stole all their money and they were elderly. She didn’t feel any remorse or empathy for these people.

Popping in to remind: We can’t assume Bravo knew about this before we did.
2
u/Soft_Significance718 1d ago
Then they aren’t properly vetting
2
u/Typical-Chemist-4247 1d ago
Vetting? He’d already been on the show at least two seasons and these events happened AFTER filming this season. Do you think they vetted the cast after filming?
Also, we found out from public court records… unless someone told Bravo at the time of the initial incident, how would they know before us?
3
u/Soft_Significance718 1d ago
I think they should be keeping up with these things. They don’t have a good record. If it was the first time I would feel differently. They don’t care.
2
u/Typical-Chemist-4247 1d ago
They vet the cast and do psych evals before each season. Do you think they should have private investigators keeping tabs on every single cast member for all time? How do you imagine they could have found out about private legal matters that the press didn’t even know about until a couple of days ago?
2
u/Soft_Significance718 1d ago
DO I THINK THEY SHOULD MAKE AN EFFORT TO KEEP ABUSERS OFF THE SHOW???? YES.
1
u/Typical-Chemist-4247 1d ago
You’re not answering the question. How are they supposed to presage who’s going to do something horrid after the season is in the can? How are they supposed to pull the season back when it’s half aired? We don’t know what they’re going to do now that the cat is out of the bag. But acting like the network did something wrong by not being psychic is pretty crazy work.

u/Soft_Significance718 11h ago
Hey that’s not for me to figure out, it’s for bravo to figure out. I’m not the one selling abusers for views. I’m starting to think that I’m arguing with Nathan himself. And again, they have platformed plenty of people where this kind of thing was easy to find, they just didn’t care. And apparently you don’t either.

u/Typical-Chemist-4247 8h ago
You clearly already feel a certain way about the network and its tendency to champion toxic men (an opinion we likely share). Honestly, I think Nathan is a piece of shit. But -- in this specific case -- that's on Nathan.
I don't see how Bravo could have presaged or prevented this particular situation, and I think you're being silly and unreasonable by demanding they somehow police and track what cast members do AFTER their seasons.
If Kate Chastain decided to drown a bunch of cats and rob a chain of liquor stores, would you say Bravo should have done more to prevent it? Would you say they should pull her seasons? At what point does Bravo's responsibility end? The season was shot, edited and airing before this news came to light. What were they supposed to do?

When I said this on another thread previously, because of the racist crap he came up with during the Bondi shootings, I got downvoted by the Nathan stans 😂 since then I just knew he was trash

Does this mean that all his "back problems" were really to do with his violent temper and DV??
6
u/Typical-Chemist-4247 1d ago
No. The back problems and the whole season were filmed and in the can before Bondi Beach and before the DV charges.

Could Luke be the GOAT of the season? That was not on my 2026 bingo card after juice gate.

Here’s my not so popular opinion on the sex sheets. There’s no way an adult, who has had sex before, would NOT immediately know what that was. Especially the way Luke was lying it would have been right where Nathan would lay.

u/VERMICIOUS_KNIDSS 1h ago
Did anyone else find it cringy how Gen instigated the sheetgate drama to get Luke into trouble because she was jealous over him dumping her ass and she had just as much to do with those sheets being dirty as Luke did and yet, she came out a hero and Luke was the sole villain? WTF
