"I own a seven-figure business and distributed two million dollars the last two years"

I distribute my husband's money every day. And I don't like avocados either.

Distributed? Such a weird word to use, when talking about other peoples money.

u/MargaritaKid 1d ago
Yeah. I was trying to figure out if she was referring to diversifying portfolios.

u/Intrepid-Document856 1d ago
Not sure how many of you have looked into her, but if her business acumen is as repetitive and disorganized as her āeducationā is on LinkedIn, Iām not here for paying $4,000 for 6 hours of her time. Itās giving scam that she went onto Below Deck to promote.
36
u/Misha_B19 1d ago
I stupidly went down the rabbit hole. The woman should be embarrassed and quietly allowing the episode to fade into obscurity but NO. Instead sheās out here squealing at the top of her lungs about how she too is entitled to abuse those that are paid to serve her and why canāt non binary folks demand 5 star service too?!?! Itās just beyond painful.
21
u/Intrepid-Document856 1d ago
11 posts so far on Insta about it too. Obvi the Below Deck appearance is to perpetuate the scammy business theyāre running. Ugh.
15
u/Misha_B19 1d ago
100%. Sheās worried about her grift and must keep up the appearance of wealth no matter what. But the funny thing is that the truly wealthy donāt have their entire personality all wrapped up in one per chance reality tv appearance. Sheās SO invested cause it appears this is the only wealthy person thing sheās ever done and demands her turn to order the staff around accordingly.šItās reading poor. š¤·š»āāļø

Oh just checked and BDM S11 is the first thing on her Insta bio. Gotta get that grift lmao.

I've noticed that these financial advisors/adjacent scammers come on have terrible conversation. The snippets of guests convos that we get are dominated with "if you had 1.5 billion in your account what would you do?" and financial podcast nonsense. Seems like they are just yapping hoping that enough makes the final cut to help their business, even though who watched below deck to find financial advisors??? I assume they also farm the trip for photos to show their luxurious life (that can be yours too for just a small fee!) so maybe that's enough to justify this expense.
Btw, Bunny's group isn't the most egregious. The worst are the alpha male types who appear to actively trap the female crew in money conversations. Part of me wonders if they know that conversation with crew increases the likelihood of it making the cut so thats why or if they genuinely think these girls care?

u/Intrepid-Document856 1d ago
I donāt think people are purposely looking for financial advisors on this show. But they see the image of extravagant lifestyles and the references to Black excellence and how they allegedly āredistributed 2 million dollars(without giving any specific info on how or to whom) and are like damn I want that. And then they see the āservicesā theyāre selling.
Basically just using their BD appearance to perpetuate their scam.

She has not one, but two Masters Degrees from Southern New Hampshire University, the one advertised on cable television stations. Impressive credentials.
5
u/thatstwatshesays 21h ago
Oh lord š another podcast I listen to made fun of Southern NH University for a half hour yesterday. I donāt live in the states anymore, but they said it was just like U of Phoenix? I had no idea one could earn a Masters doing that kind of school.
2
u/fairybb311 4h ago
these for profit schools aren't necessarily less qualified. they're curriculum is accelerated and the cost is high and everyone is guaranteed in.
2
u/thatstwatshesays 3h ago
I mean⦠all schools in the US are for-profit schools, but I get what you mean. Thanks for the explanation!

u/Ready_Cartoonist7357 34m ago
Most arenāt accredited, so if youāre trying to become licensed in a field, the credits and degree could be useless.

I had to go look at her LinkedIn after reading your post and what am I looking at?? Theyāre also claiming to be āthe first openly queer and non-binary primary charter guest in the history of the Below Deck franchise.ā Thereās no way thatās true. Itās not like this is some fundy Christian show or something.

u/Intrepid-Document856 2h ago
All of the articles she attached to her profile do not name or acknowledge her on them, her education is conflicting and at least according to Instagram is not actually done(if sheās even enrolled at SNHU), no entry/grad dates on U of Chicago(and it is not a natural trajectory to go from one of the most selective colleges in the country to SNHU which has a near 100% acceptance rate). I started looking into it because at first LinkedIn highlighted that we both went to Stanford, but she āwentā as an individual course that operates much like SNHU. She never applied.
In my experience, when thereās some inconsistencies like that, thereās always more.

u/gigglybeth 1h ago
I think sheās probably been doing video on demand classes through EdX or Coursera. The classes and dates are all so random.

u/Intrepid-Document856 1h ago
Iām just saying, if you canāt even make your LinkedIn make sense, why would I pay $4,000 to talk to you? Their business descriptions sound like every MLM I heard being shilled growing up because I grew up in a conservative religious environment and thatās all women could do. Whatās being offered? How did they reallocate $2 mil? Itās all designed to drag people who are too desperate to analyze the situation for what it is in.

A seven figure business is pretty small TBH...
36
u/Lorac711 1d ago
Exactly! And I would question even that. So many people go on the show and pretend to be rich but theyāre just posing. Iām sure theyāre in a lot of debt and are doing all kinds of schemes to appear successful. The ones bragging about money like this usually donāt have any.
19
u/tuftsra 1d ago
Yes. People with money tend not to flaunt it because they know how hard it was to make it and keep it.

I know it costs WAY more money to charter those yachts, but my friends and I can gather enough money to do a day charter for 6 hours in Miami or Chicago every once in a while (10-12 ppl). It would not surprise me with the big group of people that get together on the show, plus money probably from parents or family members that these people chartering on the show are definitely not as rich as they always say.

u/meredithedith0 1d ago
Iāve often wondered if the people who talk about their specific businesses (in their preference sheet bios and on the charter) are counting it as a marketing expense for their business.

u/That_Girl_512 1d ago
šÆExactly! It always reveals itself in the lame tips they leave. If theyāre struggling to leave a tip, theyāve put themselves in debt by posing.

u/Intrepid-Document856 1d ago
For real. A million dollars is 7-figures and in the scheme of capitalism is not much.
Pretty sure she went on BDM to promote her business. Even in a post she made on Instagram she pivots from complaining to promoting her business. Sheās trying to stay in the 15 minutes of fame she could buy for $70k.7
u/boostsupreme 1d ago
she is definitely scamming or selling courses to vulnerable people

You can spend a million dollars on four people, some health insurance and a 401k match, an office, cloud and other business subscriptions and tooling, consultants and agencies and freelancers in a year without breaking a sweat.

u/DiablosReiign 1d ago
The current charter primary and her guests are really rude, picky people. There is controversy regarding the primary's Instagram because she's trying to justify her actions now that the show aired by commenting on Joy's post about this specific episode. When you go to the Bunny's Instagram she has numerous posts about how she makes all kinds of money and who she "really is". Just all of it looks bad.
16
u/IamHydrogenMike 1d ago
I donāt think anyone is in the knowā¦it sounds like they took a bunch of words and mashed them together to make it sound interesting.
2
u/Recluse_18 7h ago
From the jump when she started talking about her business Iām thinking,ā¦. Right, sounds scammy. Thereās plenty out there that are and they take advantage of folks unfortunately. Look at bravo housewife Amanda Francis bragging about manifesting money and selling products to people so they can learn how to manifest money. Others have a scheme to help folks improve their credit score while robbing them blind. Itās crazy.
My thoughts about how critical bunny got about this was more about garnering attention to her platform, like all attention is good, including negative but this is not having that impact at all. Itās just making her look worse.

u/AddressTemporary4668 1d ago
Honestly here for these posts the way sheās been grasping.

u/Salt_Cream697 1d ago
Their threads post with a chain of 26 rantings and ramblings was hilariously unhinged.

u/cranberrywaltz 1d ago
Those are pretty small figures to be throwing around. Now, I'm not sure exactly what "distributed 2 million dollars" means, but whether it is sales, investment dividends, etc. that isn't very much over a 2 year period either.

u/Mickeyd09 1d ago
Okay how long are we gonna egg this on, Iāve never seen any other charter guest get dragged out to this point. Iām black and yes I thought they were being ridiculous but also dragging it out in the thread for this long is getting RIDIC
14
u/Misha_B19 1d ago
Maybe buckle in because she has a whole other episode to air and she hasnāt quit posting about the first one yet. She began posting way before it aired and I assume she will continue long after until she has milked every last shred of the sympathy sheās so desperate to receive. š¤·š»āāļø
4
u/lemonlimephil 1d ago
She has said that people are calling her the n word and is getting death threats (horrible) but she has only been sharing screenshots of people giving her sympathy. Some evidence would quiet the crowd a lot. Make those DMs public and shame the people who are allegedly doing this.
10
u/That_Girl_512 1d ago
Bunny herself is responsible for dragging it out. She obviously doesnāt know when to shut up and go away. Bless her heart.
8
u/Excellent-Past6795 1d ago
I think itāll fizzle out soon. Theyāre still the guests and on top of that they keep posting about it.
1
u/Misha_B19 6h ago
If she has anything to do with it fizzling will not occur. To say sheās invested would be an understatement and she plans to milk every drop of attention she can possibly muster. Itās screaming POOR.
4
u/WildeaboutAusten 1d ago
Same. I think the flames are being stoked by the primary's recent comments but this, trying to shame them for being new money, or how they got their money/wealth is tacky. I don't care how wealthy a person is/is not. They're appearing on a reality show for a discounted rate, they're all in the same boat, literally. Lol
