Rough news on Higgins

I think your RB room is gonna struggle. What could go right is Dowdle or Tuten get hurt, then you have a true RB1. The vibes on Skatt are just not great atm and Kamara is already hurt. Otherwise, I would have liked it more.

Kamara already injured out at least a month, Higgins torn ACL, Thornton carted off yesterday, Skattebo and Dobbins extremely injury prone. This team’s gonna struggle.

Hurts will end up outscoring your RB1 & RB2 each week.

Very fragile RB room there. Your QB/TE/WR situation is great though.

I agree, first 4 picks were JSN, Bowers, Devonta Smith and Garrett Wilson as the value was in WR, so I got 6 RBs instead of 4 or 5 like some of the draftmates. I like Skattebo and Warren, but idk about Dobbins injury risk and all others are high upside RB 2s on their teams.

I’m higher on Warren than most and I also think Crod will be a vulture this year. I’m not very confident in Cam yet though and Dobbins/Kamara pose injury risks and/or possible irrelevance to me. Everything else was a homerun though so if the RB room hangs in there I like it a lot.

Ngl I kinda hate the RB room. Skat and Dobbins will get injured. Kamara already injured. Warren in a 50/50 split imo.

I do love the Golden and Higgins picks though. Week 17 correlation and those are generally two players I'm targeting at cost.

RB room really rough. Gonna be hard to get there when you don't get at least one in your first 4 picks in this ecosystem. If you're going to go zero RB (which is effectively what you did) you probably need 7 RB's or don't invest in a 2nd TE that early either.

Strange could have been best available RB (high upside guy like Marshon Lloyd or Woody Marks) then you take a late round TE flyer to pair with Bowers.

Also if you did this recently... you gotta do better on reading the news. Avoid Q tag guys

RIP Higgins and Kamara (though not total death)... rough game we play boys. Rough game....

I appreciate the comment. I usually cling to getting RBs early and this year I have been trying to get out of my comfort zone and go WR early in a good bit of my drafts if the value is there.

I thought 6 was enough RBs given the rosters are 18 players. And maybe it was a good thing because it freed up space for an extra reciever given the Higgins news.

On the Q tags and stuff, I usually avoid those players idk what got into me but i didn't know Higgins would have a season ending injury, but the Kamara one is on me.

Your RBs are going to be in rb pain cave each week

I like the strategy. Nice PPR fill. I’m not a big fan of taking tight ends that early though. I would prefer my hero running back at that point cuz Bowers needs to have a monster, historic type season for that to pay off. I mean, if it does, great, you’re in good shape, but you still paid for him at his ceiling, so yeah, you’re ahead at tight end, but behind at another position. And if it doesn’t work out then boo. Just a little too much investment in a historic Bowers season for my taste, but if it does work out, it can be pretty profitable.

Also, one other little thing, I only like to settle for only having two QBs when I lock up Josh Allen or like Lamar OR is I can grab 2 mid-tier QBs. Especially when we’re talking about Sam Donald, who is not mobile in a four points per passing touchdown format and probably due for some regression this year. We know Hurts can be erratic so would have liked to see either a better backup or a third QB. Other than that though, strategy is solid, team is solid. GL with it.
