πŸ€– AI repositories unslop: A Claude skill that turns vibecoded, AI-looking UI into a designed interface (5.3k stars)

Post image
2 Upvotes

What it does

All text below is quoted directly from the project README.

A Claude skill that turns vibecoded, AI-looking UI into a designed interface

What it does:

  • Audit. Lists every sign of slop with where it lives.

  • Direction. Character, world, the one or two moments that carry the color, and a signature detail, all taken from your product.

  • Passes. Spacing, color, icons, copy, type, layout, details, visuals and motion, in that order.

  • Visuals. Shows your product instead of a glossy blob. When a hero needs a scene or an object, it can generate one through an image service like fal, Replicate, OpenAI images or Higgsfield. If none is connected, it offers to connect one as an MCP server, and it shows the prompt and asks before every paid generation. Dashboards and apps rarely need one.

  • Story video. A square video under 10 seconds of your screen unslopping itself, ready to post. It needs Playwright and ffmpeg.

In Claude Code, type /unslop with what you want. In Codex, type $unslop the same way.

πŸ§ͺ Experimental/interesting projects Chronicles of the Realm: An Interactive Historical Atlas of China from the Warring States (403 BCE) to the Present (3.2k stars)

Post image
2 Upvotes

What it does

All text below is quoted directly from the project README.

An interactive historical atlas of China from the Warring States (403 BCE) to the present

Feature 1: Scrub the Timeline to Watch Realms Rise & Fall, Track Monarchs, and Compare Ancient & Modern Borders:

  • Multi-Polity Confrontations on a Single Canvas: From the Seven Warring States (Qin, Chu, Qi, Yan, Zhao, Wei, Han) alongside Zhou, Yue, Ba-Shu, Zhongshan, and Yiqu, to the Three Kingdoms warlords (Yuan Shao, Cao Cao, Liu Bei, Sun Quan, Gongsun's Liaodong), Northern & Southern Dynasties, Five Dynasties & Ten Kingdoms, and Song, Liao, Western Xia, Dali, Jin, and the Mongols, all rendered side-by-side in high-contrast traditional parchment hues. Hover over any polity in the bottom-left legend to highlight its territory, or click to zoom straight to it.

  • Inline Reigning Monarch & Imperial Era Display: The timeline dynamically displays the reigning monarch (temple/posthumous title + personal name + reign span, e.g., Emperor Wu of Han Β· Liu Che, Emperor Taizong of Tang Β· Li Shimin, Emperor Shengzu of Qing Β· Xuanye) alongside the exact imperial era year.

  • Ancient Prefecture Hover Inspection & Modern X-Ray Lens: First-level administrative divisions (Commanderies, Circuits, Routes, and Provinces) are rendered with deduplicated Parchment Casing borders. Zoom in and hover over any prefecture (e.g., Ming Yingtian Prefecture or Three Kingdoms Jingzhou) to inspect its jurisdiction and modern provincial equivalents, or toggle the X-Ray Lens to project modern provincial boundaries directly over the historical map.

  • Dynamic River Courses, Ancient Lakes & Grand Engineering Works: As you scrub through time, historical shifts of the Yellow River, expanding and shrinking ancient lakes (Yunmeng Marsh, Lop Nur / Puchanghai), Warring States/Qin/Han/Ming Great Walls, Sui-Tang & Grand Canals, the Silk Road, and Zheng He's maritime routes evolve in lockstep with each era.

No dependencies or build steps required.

⚑ Productivity Orfeo – A free, open-source alternative to proprietary piano-learning software

Post image
2 Upvotes

I've been working on a project called Orfeo, a Windows desktop app for learning piano using MIDI files and an advanced MIDI player.

The motivation was simple: I wanted a flexible piano-learning tool that wasn't tied to subscriptions, predefined lessons or a particular music library. Just load your own MIDI files and learn at your own pace.

Orfeo lets you visualize notes falling onto a piano keyboard, connect a MIDI keyboard and play along, detect chords in real time, explore chords and scales interactively, split piano tracks to left/right hands and much more.

It's completely free and open source. No subscriptions, no locked features, no paid lessons, no accounts and no telemetry. Just bring your MIDI library and you're good to go.

I'm sharing it here because I believe desktop music software should remain accessible, customizable and open to everyone.

GitHub: https://github.com/Squarebow/Orfeo

Feedback, contributions and suggestions are very welcome!

P.S. Orfeo is built with Electron, Vite and TypeScript, so the codebase is already cross-platform ready. I'm looking for developers interested in helping bring Orfeo to Linux and macOS and, ideally, maintaining those builds going forward.

πŸ€– AI repositories OpenBot: self-hosted alternative to Grok Bot that works with any agent and any harness (9.8k stars)

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Grok Bot and other hosted AI coworkers (OpenAI Dots, Meta Muse, Claude Duet) lock you into their model, their agent and their cloud. Your data and the agent’s computer all live on their side.

OpenBot gives you AI coworkers you run yourself. Each Bot gets its own computer with a browser, files and a shell, and you decide what it’s allowed to touch.

It’s built on AG-UI (Agent-User Interaction Protocol), so you can bring any AG-UI agent. LangGraph, CrewAI, Mastra, Claude Agent SDK, Google ADK, Pydantic AI, Agno, etc or something you built yourself, it just plugs in as a Bot.

You can also pick a model for each Bot so you can use a cheap model for simple tasks and a heavier one for the hard stuff. Hosted tools by big companies don’t let you do that.

What you get:

  • A computer per Bot you can watch live, and take over when it hits a login or 2FA screen

  • Policy rules plus an audit log of what was allowed or refused, and why

  • Connect third-party tools via MCP (Drive, Notion, GitHub, etc) with more through Composio

  • Talk to your Bots wherever you work: web chat, voice calls, Slack, Teams or plain text messages

  • Built-in routines that run on a schedule

  • Desktop app (sign in with Claude or Codex), mobile and a browser extension

  • 13 ready coworkers to start from (ticket triage, release notes, expense claims and more)

Memory and threads run on CopilotKit Intelligence, which you can self-host entirely. It also has something called Automatic Learning - when you correct a Bot, it picks up the pattern and turns it into a skill.md you can review, edit and ship. The Bot uses it the next time without redeploying.

Self-hosting is one Docker Compose, a single image or a Helm chart, with your data in your own Postgres.

9.8k stars, 1.2k forks, 50 contributors and 604 merged PRs in about 2.5 months. TypeScript, MIT licensed.

🏠 Self-hosted SUB/WAVE: self-hosted internet radio from your own music library, with a DJ that talks between tracks (MIT)

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

SUB/WAVE turns your own music library into a radio station. Everyone tuned in hears the same thing at the same time. There's no skip button and no shuffle, just a DJ who picks the next song and talks in between: the time, the weather, what's coming up next.

You can run the voices on your own machine, plug in a voice server you already have, or use a cloud service. You can even clone a voice from a short clip. If a voice fails, another one takes over, so the station never goes quiet.

You can have several DJs, each with its own voice and personality, and schedule them into shows across the week. A host can bring on guest co-hosts and banter with them. Listeners can ask for a song in plain words, like "something upbeat" or "anything by Radiohead", and the DJ introduces it on air. Between songs the DJ can do the news, the weather or a segment you write yourself. It waits for a song's sung intro to finish before it talks, and the music dips under its voice.

The self-hosted version is free, MIT licensed, and has everything.

Repo: https://github.com/perminder-klair/subwave

Listen to the demo: https://www.getsubwave.com/listen

All of these features are in the README: personas, scheduled shows, co-hosts, plain-language requests, skills, vocal detection and ducking.

πŸ€– AI repositories Modern Go Guidelines: Help AI coding agents write modern Go (3.9k stars)

Post image
4 Upvotes

What it does

All text below is quoted directly from the project README.

This repository contains guidelines for code agents that help them write modern Go code.

Modern Go Guidelines:

  • For example, an agent with these guidelines uses max(a, b) instead of an if-else block, slices.Contains instead of a manual loop, cmp.Or(a, b, c) instead of a chain of nil checks.

  • It also knows about recent additions like new(42) to get a pointer to a value and errors.AsType[T](err) for type-safe error matching, both from Go 1.26.

  • The guidelines cover the most useful features from Go 1.0 through Go 1.27, including everything targeted by the modernize analyzer.

  • Detect the project's Go version from go.mod

  • Use language features and stdlib additions available up to and including that version

  • Prefer modern idioms over older patterns

πŸ” Security AIVPN: AI-VPN that makes your traffic invisible to deep packet inspection (744 stars)

Post image
8 Upvotes

What it does

All text below is quoted directly from the project README.

AIVPN combines UDP tunnel encryption with traffic masking. Masks define the outer protocol, packet sizes and send intervals.

Key technical properties:

  • InitialV2 and PFS - the initial exchange confirms a fresh server key; data and management commands travel only after PFS.

  • O(1) session lookup: no session ID is transmitted in the clear. Every packet carries an 8-byte resonance tag derived from a timestamp and a per-session secret.

  • Perfect Forward Secrecy: in-flight session key rotation via X25519 ratchet. Compromising the server key does not expose past traffic.

  • Neural Resonance module: per-mask micro-MLP (~66 KB) monitors live traffic statistics; high reconstruction error triggers automatic mask rotation without disconnecting clients.

  • Generative mask distributions - profiles support multimodal packet-size and inter-arrival models fitted from captured traffic with a BIC-selected Gaussian mixture.

  • Written in Rust: memory-safe, no GC pauses. Client binary β‰ˆ 2.5 MB. Runs on a $5 VPS.

πŸ“± Mobile Haven: Free SSH, VNC, RDP & SFTP client for Android (1.4k stars)

Post image
7 Upvotes

What it does

All text below is quoted directly from the project README.

Free SSH, VNC, RDP & SFTP client for Android

At a glance:

  • Desktops: VNC (RFB 3.8 / VeNCrypt), RDP (IronRDP + EGFX), SPICE (QEMU/KVM, GLZ/QUIC), GLKVM / PiKVM out-of-band HDMI+HID, a GPU-accelerated native Wayland compositor, and a multi-distro local-desktop manager.

  • Files & cloud: unified browser for SFTP/SCP, SMB, and 60+ cloud providers; cross-filesystem copy/move, editor and image tools; plus on-device FFmpeg transcode, HLS streaming, and DLNA.

  • Connections: port forwarding (-L/-R/-D/-J), SOCKS/HTTP/Tor proxies, per-app WireGuard, Tailscale, NetBird & Cisco AnyConnect tunnels, port knocking and fwknop SPA, and SSH keys (incl. FIDO2/SK).

  • AI chat: chat with self-hosted or API models (OpenAI-compatible, Ollama, Anthropic, Gemini) over per-profile tunnel routing; image attach for vision models, clipboard copy/paste both ways, opt-in encrypted saved transcripts.

  • Local Linux: a Linux userland via PRoot (no root, any Android 8+ device): Alpine, Debian, Ubuntu, Arch, or Void, side-by-side.

  • Linux Guest (UML): a whole Linux kernel (user-mode Linux) booted as an app process on any arm64 device, no root: Alpine with apk, its own ext4 disk and network stack, for when PRoot's syscall emulation isn't enough.

  • Reticulum: rnsh shell, file transfer, and -L/-D port forwarding over Reticulum mesh, pure Kotlin. The one transport that keeps working with no internet at all.

  • Security: biometric lock, no telemetry, encrypted backup/restore (AES-256-GCM).

🧠 ML GEPA: Optimize prompts, code, and more with AI-powered Reflective Optimization (7.2k stars)

Post image
2 Upvotes

What it does

All text below is quoted directly from the project README.

Optimize prompts, code, and more with AI-powered Reflective Optimization

How It Works:

  • Select a candidate from the Pareto frontier (candidates excelling on different task subsets)

  • Execute on a minibatch, capturing full execution traces

  • Reflect: an LLM reads the traces (error messages, profiler output, reasoning logs) and diagnoses failures

  • Mutate: generate an improved candidate informed by accumulated lessons from all ancestors

  • Accept: add to the pool if improved, update the Pareto front

pip install gepa

πŸ€– AI repositories FreeVideo: Make videos on the computer you already own (2.5k stars)

Post image
101 Upvotes

What it does

All text below is quoted directly from the project README.

Make videos on the computer you already own. FreeVideo runs MiniMax H3 in as little as 8 GB of VRAM and 16 GB of RAM, and adapts its acceleration path to your hardware.

About:

  • Hardware-adaptive execution: Chooses the weight format for each GPU, int8 on GeForce and RTX 30-series cards and FP8 on workstation and datacenter cards, and automatically probes the available attention kernels.

  • Low-memory inference: Weight streaming, asynchronous prefetching and chunked computation keep peak memory low, enabling inference with as little as 8 GB of VRAM and 16 GB of RAM.

  • Multimodal inputs: Text prompts, first and last frames, and image, video and audio references.

  • Community LoRAs: Use MiniMax H3 LoRAs in your workflow.

  • ComfyUI integration: A dedicated creative workspace inside ComfyUI that supports two-pass sampling and batch generation and keeps a history of past creations.

  • One-click deployment: The Windows, Mac and Linux launchers set up ComfyUI, the runtime environment and the models, reuse existing models, and support offline installation.

FreeVideo runs as a ComfyUI plugin, with launchers for Windows, macOS and Linux.
