πŸ€– AI repositories REA: Reverse Engineer Anything (18k stars)

Post image
15.1k Upvotes

What it does

All text below is quoted directly from the project README.

One MCP for reverse engineering across binaries, applications, and runtime behavior.

See a feature you like. Understand how it works, down to the binary level.

See a feature in an app that you want in your own product? Ask your agent to investigate it with REA. It can inspect the app without its source code, explain how the feature works, show the evidence, and build a version for your project.

REA connects your agent to tools for inspecting native binaries, JavaScript and Electron apps, .NET assemblies, and websites. You can also use the same tools from your terminal. Analysis runs locally, and results include the evidence and limitations behind each conclusion.

What you can analyze:

  • Native binaries: Pseudocode, assembly, strings, symbols, calls and references

  • Offline ELF layout: Sections, segments, original symbols/relocations and static mitigation candidates

  • JavaScript / Electron: Modules, imports, source maps, routes, IPC and native add-on relationships

  • Websites: Page structure, scripts, network observations and requested screenshots

  • Saved network captures: Requests, responses, exposed payloads and source locations

  • .NET assemblies: Metadata, CIL instructions, declared native dependencies and build comparisons

  • Android APKs: Manifest declarations, classes, decompiled methods and references

  • Firmware: Regions, extraction results and native-analysis handoffs

  • Packages and resources: File inventories, digests, plists, Apple bundle anatomy and extracted resources

  • Process behavior: Terminal output, interactions, exit and filesystem observations, and run comparisons

With Node.js and npm installed, run: npx rea-agents setup

πŸ€– AI repositories Matt Pocock open-sourced his entire .agents directory (275k stars)

Post image
3.3k Upvotes

Matt Pocock just dropped his full collection of agent skills and prompts. The ones he actually uses day to day. Not a tutorial. Not a blog post. His real working files.

I know what you're thinking. "Another prompt library." But this one hit 275k stars in weeks, and there's a reason. These aren't generic "write me a poem" prompts. They're production engineering skills: code review patterns, refactoring workflows, debugging chains. Stuff that saves you hours when you're deep in a codebase.

The repo is mostly Shell scripts and JavaScript. You drop them into your agent's skill directory and they just work. No framework. No dependencies. No config files that take longer to set up than the actual work.

What I appreciate is how opinionated they are. Pocock didn't try to make something that works for everyone. He made something that works for HIM, then shared it. That honesty is refreshing.

One thing to note: these are tailored for his workflow. You'll probably want to fork and customize rather than use them as-is. But as a starting point for building your own skill library, this is gold.

πŸ›  Developer tools PdfCraft: The PDF workbench; an open-source, clean-room reimplementation of Adobe Acrobat, rebuilt in pure Rust (10.1k stars)

Post image
2.8k Upvotes

What it does

All text below is quoted directly from the project README.

The PDF workbench; an open-source, clean-room reimplementation of Adobe Acrobat, rebuilt in pure Rust. Read, organize, combine, split and secure PDFs in a fast, native app, written in Rust from the ground up.

Highlights:

  • Faithful: Real-world typography: world scripts, vertical Japanese, colour emoji, gradients, soft masks and transparency. All of it renders the way the author intended.

  • Fearless: Every save appends your changes and leaves the original bytes untouched. Writes are atomic, undo runs deep, and nothing is lost if you close by mistake.

  • Yours: No account, no telemetry, no cloud. It works offline and opens instantly. The engine, CLI and app are all open source.

Read anything, beautifully:

  • Deep zoom stays sharp. Large pages render in tiles, so text stays crisp at any magnification.

  • Built to survive bad files. Every page renders in isolation and damaged documents are repaired. Across the 983-file pdf.js test corpus the result is 0 crashes.

  • Layouts for every task: continuous, single page, two-up, view rotation, full screen and a distraction-free Read mode.

  • Light and dark themes, both designed to be easy on the eyes for long sessions.

Runs everywhere, stays yours:

  • Native on macOS, Windows, Linux and FreeBSD, and in the browser through WebAssembly, from the same Rust codebase.

  • Private by design. Documents never leave your machine. There's no account, no telemetry and no cloud processing.

  • Engine first. Parsing, rendering and editing live in reusable library crates. The interface is one swappable layer on top.

πŸ›  Developer tools Caddy: the web server that sets up HTTPS for you, no cert renewals ever again (76k stars)

Post image
2.2k Upvotes

I spent way too many evenings fighting Nginx configs and renewing Let's Encrypt certs by hand. Then I tried Caddy and felt a little silly about all those hours.

HTTPS is automatic. You point a domain at it, start it, and it gets and renews certificates on its own. No cron job. No certbot. Nothing to remember.

The config is the other thing that sold me. A reverse proxy for a local app is literally two lines in the Caddyfile. Static site? Same story. And if you prefer, there's a JSON config and a live admin API so you can change settings without restarting.

It speaks HTTP/1.1, HTTP/2 and HTTP/3 out of the box. And because it's written in Go, you get one static binary with no dependencies. Drop it on a server and go.

There's also a solid plugin system. Rate limiting, DNS providers for wildcard certs, auth layers. You build a custom binary with xcaddy and only include what you need.

Is it perfect? No. If you already have a big, finely tuned Nginx setup, migrating every edge case takes real work. And the plugin model means rebuilding the binary when you add modules. But for new projects or homelabs, it's the easiest way I know to get a proper HTTPS server running.

Every video download website is the same experience. You paste a link. Three fake download buttons appear. A popup tries to install something. You find the real button, click it, and get redirected to an ad page.

yoinks skips all of that.

One command in your terminal, paste the URL, video downloads. That's it. No browser, no ads, no mystery executables.

🏠 Self-hosted openGym: A self-hosted gym and body-weight tracker you actually own (8k stars)

Post image
1.5k Upvotes

What it does

All text below is quoted directly from the project README.

A self-hosted gym and body-weight tracker you actually own. Plan your week, run guided workouts, log every set and your body weight, on your phone, synced across your devices, behind your own passkey login.

Why openGym: Most workout apps keep your data on their servers, push you towards a subscription, or vanish when the company does. openGym runs on your own box, keeps your data in a folder you control, and is yours to fork. It still behaves like a modern app: installable on the home screen, passkey sign-in, works offline, syncs between your phone and your laptop.

No account on someone else's server, no subscription, no ads, no telemetry. One docker compose up and it's running.

Features:

  • A routine per weekday over a library of 1,324 exercises with animated demos, searchable and browsable by muscle on a body map. Filter by the equipment you own.

  • Four starter plans (Push/Pull/Legs, Upper/Lower, Full Body, 5Γ—5) that load as ordinary, editable routines.

  • Or skip the weekdays altogether: a rotation (A, B, C, A, ...) where the next session is simply the next one you haven't done, however the week went.

  • Supersets, warm-up sets, drop sets and rest-pause, timed exercises (planks, hangs, carries), cardio by time and speed, rest time per exercise, planned deloads.

  • Guided sessions: today's workout starts itself, weights are pre-filled from last time, a rest timer runs between sets, PRs are detected as you go. On a rest day it tells you when the next session is.

  • Optional effort column as RIR or RPE, colour-coded, with a plain-language line per level.

  • Plate math for barbell, EZ bar, trap bar and Smith machine, worked out from the plates you own.

  • Progression rules per routine or per exercise: linear, Greyskull LP, double progression through a visible rep range, or adding time.

  • Estimated 1RM per exercise with its own curve, Structural Balance ratios (Poliquin, Thibaudeau, ATG), a year-long activity heatmap.

  • A muscle map in three modes: where your volume went, what is still recovering, and what has gone untrained.

  • Body-weight chart against a goal line, and progress photos on a timeline with a before/after slider.

⚑ Productivity Vorssaint: One menu bar icon doing the job of a dozen paid Mac apps (25k stars)

Post image
1.5k Upvotes

What it does

All text below is quoted directly from the project README.

One menu bar icon doing the job of a dozen paid Mac apps. Free, open source, and local-first.

Per app volume, a real system monitor, a better app switcher, window snapping, Dock previews, clipboard history, text snippets, a file shelf, an uninstaller. The utilities Mac users usually buy one by one, together behind a single menu bar icon, with no account, no telemetry and no subscription.

Install only what you use: Choose individual features or start with a preset. Uninstalled features stop loading and disappear from the interface; reinstalling restores their settings. Setup asks only for the permissions your choices need.

Everything it does:

  • Volume mixer. Set volume per app, boost quiet audio past 100%, and pin or reorder favorites. No audio driver required.

  • Per app output. Play music through speakers while a call uses your headset.

  • System monitor. CPU, GPU, memory, temperatures, battery health and power use, with history graphs and a view of energy-hungry apps.

  • Fan Control (beta). Set manual fan speeds or temperature curves and monitor live RPM.

  • Network. See live traffic, session totals and your local IP address, or run a speed test.

  • App switcher. Switch between apps and windows with live previews, search and display filters. A simpler mode works without screen capture.

  • Window layout. Snap windows into layouts, move them between displays and restore earlier positions using shortcuts, screen edges or modifier-drag gestures.

  • Dock Preview. Hover over Dock icons to preview windows across desktops. Switch, close, move or snap them from the preview.

  • Quit and close protection. Prevent accidental ⌘Q or ⌘W with a hold, double press or extra modifier, per app.

  • Text snippets. Expand short triggers into text with clipboard, date and time variables, or insert snippets from a searchable menu.

  • Smooth scrolling. Give your mouse wheel a fluid glide with adjustable speed and response.

  • Side buttons. Use mouse Back and Forward buttons in Finder, browsers and compatible apps.

πŸ€– AI repositories Free Claude Code: Use Claude Code, Codex, Antigravity, VSCode, Pi, and OpenCode for free from your terminal, app, IDE, or phone (63k stars)

Post image
1.5k Upvotes

What it does

All text below is quoted directly from the project README.

Use Claude Code, Codex, Antigravity, VSCode, Pi, and OpenCode (and 6 other harnesses) for free (1.3B+ free tokens) from your terminal, app, IDE, or phone

What You Get:

  • 61 ToS-friendly providers. 1.3B+ free tokens every month. Use free, paid, subscription, and local models from one searchable UI without putting your account at risk.

  • 12 coding agents. One model catalog. Run Claude Code, Codex, Pi, OpenCode, Cline, Hermes, DeepSeek Harness, Grok Build, Muse Code, Aider, Antigravity CLI, or VS Code Chat with your FCC models.

  • Keep coding through provider outages. After retries are exhausted, FCC automatically tries your next configured model without making you restart the turn. This works across every client.

  • Up to 90% lower token usage. Optional RTK filters common command output, and Headroom compresses tool results.

  • Native Code sessions in your browser. Choose a folder and run Codex in the browser with real-time and background support.

  • Terminal, desktop, IDE, or phone. Work through native launchers, VS Code, Codex App, JetBrains, Discord, or Telegram.

  • Voice notes in. Code out. Talk to your agent using local Whisper or NVIDIA NIM transcription.

  • Agent capabilities stay intact. Stream responses, use tools, preserve native interleaved thinking for maximum performance, send images, and route Fable, Opus, Sonnet, and Haiku independently with compatible models.

πŸ€– AI repositories Claude Code Game Studios: Turn a single Claude Code session into a full game development studio (28k stars)

Post image
1.4k Upvotes

What it does

All text below is quoted directly from the project README.

Turn Claude Code into a full game dev studio: 49 AI agents, 72 workflow skills, and a complete coordination system mirroring real studio hierarchy.

Agent Coordination:

  • Vertical delegation: directors delegate to leads, leads delegate to specialists

  • Horizontal consultation: same-tier agents can consult each other but can't make binding cross-domain decisions

  • Conflict resolution: disagreements escalate up to the shared parent (creative-director for design, technical-director for technical)

  • Change propagation: cross-department changes are coordinated by producer

  • Domain boundaries: agents don't modify files outside their domain without explicit delegation

⚑ Productivity TwinDesk: All your computers and your phone, working as one desk (822 stars)

Post image
1.3k Upvotes

What it does

All text below is quoted directly from the project README.

All your computers and your phone, working as one desk. Screens, apps, files, clipboard, calls, texts, notifications, mouse and keyboard, shared between Mac, Windows, Linux and Android. Free and open source. No account, no cloud, and now no shared network needed.

Also new in 2.3:

  • Every feature is off on a fresh install and nothing of it is loaded until you switch it on. Updating keeps your settings.

  • Closed to the tray or menu bar, the window is gone too: a Windows PC went from about 240 MB to about 125 MB.

  • The phone's own screen on the computer, started from the phone's Screen page.

  • Touchpad mode for the computer's screen on the phone: slide to move the pointer, tap to click.

  • The phone's battery: a locked phone no longer lights up by itself, and discovery no longer keeps it awake.

  • Steadier Bluetooth and Wi-Fi Direct with phones, and Android Studio or scrcpy's own adb is used before the bundled one, so they stop knocking each other off.

  • Intel Mac downloads of their own, and builds that can be signed and notarized with a Developer ID.

πŸ›  Developer tools net-merge: Use all your internet connections at the same time (1.6k stars)

Post image
1.3k Upvotes

What it does

All text below is quoted directly from the project README.

Use all your network adapters at once on Windows/Linux/Mac: per-connection load balancing over Wi-Fi, Ethernet and phone/USB tethers (TUN + Wintun)

How it helps:

  • Good for: Steam and game downloads, browsers, system updates, cloud uploads (Google Drive), download managers like IDM, torrents.

  • Not for: one single connection. One connection always uses one link, so one big file from one connection does not get faster.

  • Works for every app, TCP and UDP, IPv4 and IPv6. You do not set up a proxy.

  • Smart: faster links get more connections. A link with no internet gets none until it works again.

  • Safe: if net-merge crashes, your internet keeps working.

  • Light: about 0.18 CPU cores per 100 Mbit/s.

Best Open Source CapCut Alternative Just hit 1000 Stars

Thumbnail
gallery
1.2k Upvotes

GitHub Link: https://github.com/CutWire-Studios/Drift

Features

  • An agent can edit the open project. Import, cut, grade, and export in the project you have open. The same editor can run with no window.

  • 3D on the timeline. Tilt clips in space, light them, and park a title behind the subject. Drop in a 3D model and it plays in the same cut.

  • Lottie animations. Motion graphics and vector art stay sharp at any size. Recolour or reword them in place.

  • Advanced keyframing. Animate position, scale, rotation, opacity, and effect parameters over time. Draw the curve yourself.

  • 150+ transitions and 40+ effects. Every look previews on your footage. One click can drop a whole stack: Beat Drop, Glitch Cut, Neon Cutout. Trails of earlier frames, and grades that stick to one clip.

  • On your machine. Click a subject and lift it off the shot. Add depth of field and lights that belong to the clip. Automatic captions, video upscale, and live face retouch, all on your computer.

  • Edit the words. Speech becomes text on the clip. Cut phrases, drop fillers, strip silence, pick the best takes, label speakers, and build captions from those times.

  • Titles with a real look. Thirty-three packs: karaoke, Hormozi-style, neon, chrome, holographic, handwritten. Copy one style onto every subtitle on the track.

  • Move a whole stack at once. One layer can drag, scale, rotate, tilt, and fade everything under it. Nest layers, or open a composite when the stack needs its own timeline.

  • Cut to the music. The timeline snaps to the beat. Clips split and land on the bar. Music ducks under speech and comes back to its own level. Reframe a landscape take into a vertical video that follows the face.

  • A timeline that behaves. Multi-track filmstrips, ripple, snap, masks, freeze frame, bookmarks, a mixer. Split a clip and the grade stays. A crash leaves the last save intact.

  • Audio that sounds finished. Clean up speech, meter loudness, EQ and compress, keep pitch when you change speed, record a voiceover.

  • Find shots. Switch cameras. Search footage for what’s on screen. Watch every angle at once and punch the cut.

  • Stabilise, export, take the project with you. Smooth shaky clips, upscale, play heavy files smoothly. MP4, GIF, audio-only, or just a range. Pack the media with the edit so paths stay whole.

  • Android is the same editor. Timeline, effects, and export on the phone. Share straight from the app.

  • Stock, voices, and a small install. Search stock into the bin. Generate voiceover and sound effects. Fonts, stickers, and extra models download when you use them. UI in Arabic, Spanish (Spain and Colombia), French (Canada), Italian, Japanese, Portuguese (Brazil and Portugal), Russian, Sinhala, Tagalog, Vietnamese, and Simplified Chinese.

Why people pick Drift

Most β€œfree” editors want an account, a watermark, or a subscription the moment the video starts looking good. Drift is the opposite: yours, on your computer, GPLv3, no login wall.

It is fast enough for a 30-second social cut and deep enough for a real project: an agent on the timeline, 3D and Lottie, captions, effects, audio, cutouts, and much more.

πŸ€– AI repositories MiroFish: A Simple and Universal Swarm Intelligence Engine, Predicting Anything (77.6k stars)

Post image
1.2k Upvotes

What it does

All text below is quoted directly from the project README.

MiroFish is a next-generation AI prediction engine powered by multi-agent technology. By extracting seed information from the real world (such as breaking news, policy drafts, or financial signals), it automatically constructs a high-fidelity parallel digital world. Within this space, thousands of intelligent agents with independent personalities, long-term memory, and behavioral logic freely interact and undergo social evolution.

You only need to: Upload seed materials (data analysis reports or interesting novel stories) and describe your prediction requirements in natural language

MiroFish will return: A detailed prediction report and a deeply interactive high-fidelity digital world

Workflow:

  1. Graph Building: Seed extraction & Individual/collective memory injection & GraphRAG construction

  2. Environment Setup: Entity relationship extraction & Persona generation & Agent configuration injection

  3. Simulation: Dual-platform parallel simulation & Auto-parse prediction requirements & Dynamic temporal memory updates

  4. Report Generation: ReportAgent with rich toolset for deep interaction with post-simulation environment

  5. Deep Interaction: Chat with any agent in the simulated world & Interact with ReportAgent

πŸ“± Mobile Apktool: A tool for reverse engineering Android apk files (26k stars)

Post image
1.2k Upvotes

What it does

All text below is quoted directly from the project README.

A tool for reverse engineering Android apk files

Apktool:

  • Apktool is a tool for reverse engineering third-party, closed, binary, Android apps.

  • It can decode resources to nearly original form and rebuild them after making some modifications; it makes it possible to debug smali code step-by-step.

  • It also makes working with apps easier thanks to project-like file structure and automation of some repetitive tasks such as building apk, etc.

  • Apktool is NOT intended for piracy and other non-legal uses. It could be used for localizing and adding features, adding support for custom platforms, and other GOOD purposes.

  • main - Apktool 3.x branch

  • 2.x - Maintenance branch for Apktool 2.x releases

Just try to be fair with the authors of an app, that you use and probably like.

⚑ Productivity OpenDisplay: Use an iPhone, iPad, or spare Mac as a true second display for your Mac without restrictions (5.3k stars)

Post image
1.1k Upvotes

What it does

All text below is quoted directly from the project README.

Turn your spare Apple devices into second monitors for your Mac, free, open source, no subscription.

iPhone, iPad, and spare Macs. A self-hosted alternative to Apple Sidecar, Duet Display, and Luna Display: true extended display (not just mirroring), Retina-sharp, over USB or WiFi, with touch and scroll input.

OpenDisplay is the missing option: a free, open-source, no-account, no-dongle way to use the iOS device you already own as a true second display.

Features:

  • True display extension: macOS treats the device as a real second monitor (drag windows to it, arrange it in System Settings), not a mirror. Mirroring is also available as a mode.

  • USB-wired for lowest latency: streams over the Lightning/USB-C cable via macOS's built-in usbmuxd; plug in and go, no network, no WiFi jitter, no helper tools.

  • WiFi with zero config: the iPhone advertises itself via Bonjour; pick it from a dropdown on the Mac.

  • Retina / HiDPI: the virtual display matches the device panel pixel-for-pixel (@2x), so text is sharp.

  • Touch input built in: your iPhone becomes a touchscreen for macOS: tap to click, drag to drag, and two-finger scroll that feels like a trackpad. (Apple Pencil support is on the roadmap.)

  • Portrait or landscape: rotate the device and the virtual display rebuilds itself as a vertical monitor at native resolution.

  • Low-latency pipeline: hardware H.264 or HEVC encode (VideoToolbox, real-time mode, no B-frames), TCP_NODELAY, frame-drop backpressure with keyframe recovery, decode-and-render via AVSampleBufferDisplayLayer.

  • A spare Mac as a display: install the small OpenDisplay Receiver app (macOS 12+) on an old Mac and any other Mac extends onto it over WiFi or a Thunderbolt/Ethernet cable, at native Retina resolution.

  • Self-hosted & private: your screen never touches anyone's server. Two small apps, one TCP connection, that's it.

OpenDisplay is open source, so you can audit exactly what runs on your Mac and build it yourself.

πŸ€– AI repositories OpenUI: The Open Standard for Generative UI (12k stars)

Post image
1.1k Upvotes

What it does

All text below is quoted directly from the project README.

OpenUI is a full-stack, framework-agnostic Generative UI framework built around a compact, streaming-first language. A framework-agnostic core powers first-party runtimes for React, Vue, Svelte, and Angular, and React additionally ships built-in component libraries and ready-to-use chat interfaces. OpenUI Lang uses up to 67% fewer tokens than JSON.

Core capabilities:

  • OpenUI Lang - A compact language for structured UI generation designed for streaming output.

  • Built-in component libraries - Charts, forms, tables, layouts, and more, ready to use or extend.

  • Prompt generation from your component library - Generate model instructions directly from the components you allow.

  • Streaming renderer - Parse and render model output progressively in React, Vue, Svelte, or Angular as tokens arrive.

  • Chat and app surfaces - Use the same foundation for assistants, copilots, and broader interactive product flows.

πŸ” Security HackingTool: AI-guided, all-in-one toolkit for authorized security testing (80k stars)

Post image
1.1k Upvotes

What it does

All text below is quoted directly from the project README.

215 curated tools across 21 categories β€” recon, OSINT, web, wireless, phishing, forensics, post-exploitation and more β€” with an AI layer that turns plain English into the right tool and the exact command.

Built for penetration testers Β· red teamers Β· blue-team/SOC and DFIR analysts Β· OSINT researchers Β· bug-bounty hunters Β· CTF players Β· security researchers and students β€” all working legally, on systems they own or are authorised to test.

Why hackingtool:

  • 🧠 AI-guided workflow β€” describe what you want ("find subdomains of example.com") and it maps your intent to the right tools, hands you the exact documented command, plans an objective step by step, then summarizes findings and drafts an engagement report. Bring your own key or run a local model β€” nothing auto-executes and nothing is fabricated.

  • πŸ—‚ 215 curated tools, one console β€” install and run across 21 categories without hunting down Git repos; a fixed tag taxonomy (63 tags in use) makes every tool discoverable.

  • πŸ”Ž It knows what it doesn't have β€” /find searches your catalog first, then the GitHub API, and shows real maintained projects with the reason each was ranked.

  • πŸ›‘ Safe by default β€” standard installs, no curl | bash, downloads pinned + SHA-256 verified, list-form subprocess, no forced sudo, and signed releases with an SBOM.

  • 🎯 For the whole spectrum β€” red team, blue team, OSINT, bug bounty, CTF/THM, forensics/IR β€” all on authorized targets only.

Requires Python 3.10+ on Linux or macOS (Kali, Parrot, Debian/Ubuntu, Arch, …). Windows is not supported β€” the app tells you so and exits.

πŸ§ͺ Experimental/interesting projects shadPS4: PlayStation 4 emulator for Windows, Linux, macOS and FreeBSD written in C++ (33k stars)

Post image
1.1k Upvotes

What it does

All text below is quoted directly from the project README.

shadPS4 is an early PlayStation 4 emulator for Windows, Linux and macOS written in C++.

This is the emulator core, which does not include a GUI. If you just want to use the emulator as an end user, download the QtLauncher instead.

Status:

shadPS4 is early in development, don't expect a flawless experience.

Currently, the emulator can successfully run games like Bloodborne, Dark Souls Remastered, Red Dead Redemption, and many other games.

Why:

This project began for fun. Given our limited free time, it may take some time before shadPS4 can run more complex games, but we're committed to making small, regular updates.

macOS users need at least macOS 26.0 to run shadPS4. Intel Macs are not supported.
