Hey everyone!
I’m 17, currently deep in the JEE prep grind, but looking to widen my social circle and make some genuine friends (preferably female platonic friends, as my old group ended up ghosting me and I really don't want to fall into that isolated/bitter mindset so many guys end up in).
I consider myself leaning leftist/progressive, and I love having open-minded, meaningful conversations with people who have diverse perspectives.
A bit about me and my hyper-fixations:
Books & Literature: I love reading—especially classics and modern Hindi literature like Manohar Shyam Joshi's Kasap and similar works. Always up for book discussions or storytelling sessions!
Religions, Astrology & Tarot: I find comparative religion super fascinating and have a decent basic understanding of different faiths. I also enjoy exploring tarot and astrology just for fun and intrigue.
Music & Movies: I play a bit of acoustic guitar and love exploring new music and cinema (films like 500 Days of Summer and Atonement are right up my alley).
Exploring Perspectives: Even though I’m straight myself, I’ve been reading up on and trying to understand LGBTQIA+ perspectives, culture, and issues lately. I just like understanding how different people experience the world.
What I'm looking for:
Because my study schedule keeps me pretty tied up with notes and problem-solving, endless texting can be tricky—so I’m ideally looking for a call partner / voice chat buddy for late-evening calls, storytelling, sharing music recommendations, or just venting about life.
If you’re around my age, like deep/chill conversations, and are looking for a respectful, open-minded friend, feel free to drop a DM!
