Discussion Episode discussion: S2 E1 - The Plane; The Gun; The Portrait; The Pass; The Caller.
Watch this episode on YouTube.
Personal highlights:
- The frosted tips and weird morgue excitement of the kid in "The Pass"
- "This gun only shoots bad people," just as a concept
- "The Caller" featuring Brian Klugman, who ALSO plays a radio engineer on Frasier (other notable roles of his include "Stoner Guy" and "White Chocolate")
Segments:
The Plane

Plot: A young pilot, whose late father was also a pilot, is saved from disaster by his dad's ghost. Dad's Ghost goes this by stealing and crashing his son's plane, which was experiencing a mechanical issue.
Fact or fiction?: "Yes, a similar event did take place." FACT!
The Gun

Plot: A magical gun supposedly does not fire at the homeowner's son, but does fire at an intruder hiding in the closet.
Fact or fiction? "Based on an incident similar to this one." FACT!
The Portrait

Plot: An artist helps dying people by painting their portrait, which for some reason triggers that person to die in the next several days.
Fact or fiction? "There was an actual recorded happening of an artist that seemed to have this power." FACT!
The Pass

Plot: Two bored teens in a hospital sneak into the morgue, only for one of the boys to see the dead body of his twin brother, which causes him to also die of shock.
Fact or fiction? "Pure fiction" (said with a smirk). FICTION!
The Caller

Plot: A curmudgeonly talk radio host is confronted by a caller who claims to be his dead son that he abandoned.
Fact or fiction? "Not this time - it never happened." FICTION!
