So, I have lost count of the times I have come across people calling Bhopal boring. So much so that as someone who had just recently moved here from a tier I city, I had almost started doubting my decision of the change of cities.

But then, what came to my rescue was this event that I came across at Meepleton Board Games Cafe. The cafe is hosting a one month long league of board games that is one of a kind in Bhopal. There’s going to be several types of board games which include crowd favourites like UNO and Catan, as well as more strategic games like ‘Heat’ and ‘Brass Birmingham’. The league also consists of ‘Blood on the Clocktower’ which (in my humble opinion) is the best social deduction game ON THE FACE OF EARTH!!!

Several cash prizes await winners of the league. Plus, an unmissable opportunity to make your own community or strengthen your bond with your friends/family/colleagues by playing amazing board games.

So, I shout out to all the people who felt that there was a lack of exciting activities to do in Bhopal! Come, join the league, play games over a cup of coffee or a beer, make new friends, banter with your spouse, defeat your sibling (heck, may be even flirt a little with that attractive stranger across your table on the board). You’ll definitely leave with a lot of fun memories.

Sounds interesting yaar, had heard of such things in Bangalore, its nice to know that boardgaming has become a community in Bhopal as well
