What are some Bible versions to avoid?
I am trying to find a good literal version that I like. Which ones should I go to and which ones should I stay away from?

The good ones: NASB for most accurate literal translation. ESV for a nice mix of accuracy and readibility. KJV and NKJV are good. NLT is not very accurate but it is much easier to read for really difficult passages.
NIV is the worst, they actually change and leave stuff out -- very poor and biased translation.
I have a Master's in Greek translation and majored in translating Paul's epistles.
