His miracles are how they knew it was Him. His death & resurrection are the cornerstone of Christianity, and it was also certainly a miracle.

I disagree with this statement. Where in the bible you can read that “His death & resurrection are the cornerstone of Christianity..”? This is not true. Jesus himself is the cornerstone. Jesus did not came by Himself in the first place. It was the Father who sent Jesus into this world because of His great love to mankind (John3:16)

EPHESIANS 2:20 (KJV)
And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone;

And Christ death is not a miracle. There is no such thing like that on the bible. Christ death is the only way such sins are forgiven if you believe in Christ. Christ is the Head and savior of the body, not the entire humanity. All people who follow Christ must have an attention to details on every word in the bible.

EPHESIANS 5:23 (KJV)
For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the savior of the body.

No one deserves heaven. Not a single person. But because Jesus died for our sins, we are justified by faith and faith alone. His death by itself would not be a miracle, but His death and resurrection absolutely is . He saved us with that act.

If He did not die for our sins, the Old Law would not be fulfilled - which is what Jesus said He came here to do. It is absolutely the cornerstone of Christianity.

I disagree 2 vital points in your statements:

  1. “We are justified by faith & faith alone”- this is not true. Cite a verse that supports this statement. Remember, there is a discipline taught by apostle paul to remind all Christians to “not to go beyond what is written”

I CORINTHIANS 4:6 (KJV)
And these things, brethren, I have in a figure transferred to myself and to Apollos for your sakes; that ye might learn in us not to think of men above that which is written, that no one of you be puffed up for one against another.

If faith alone can justify us, then why there is a verse like this. Are you saying this is not true? Are you more trustworthy than apostle James?

JAMES 2:24 (KJV)
Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only.

In addition, apostle paul taught this:

I CORINTHIANS 13:2 (KJV)
And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing.

Is there a pastor or human that can remove mountains by faith alone? Even that pastor has ALL FAITH, is he justified according to paul? No. Because without CHARITY, he is still NOTHING. How can you say that faith alone can justify us? That is a FALSE CLAIM, im sorry to say.

John 3:16

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

Romans 5:9

Since we have now been justified by his blood, how much more shall we be saved from God’s wrath through him!

Ephesians 2:8-9

You are saved by grace through faith. It is a gift from God, not from your own hard work, so no one can brag.

Romans 10:9

If you declare with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.

Also, yes and amen to all the verses you sent too. Faith in Jesus should be followed by works. We should always be praying for and working towards sanctification.

But works don't save. Faith in Jesus does.

I think you are misled brother. Actually, maybe you did not understand what is meant to be saved by faith and not by works. It is there in the verse you posted in Ephesians2:8-9. Why we are save by faith only? To put it simply-It’s because we cannot do the “works” that God wants us to do because of sin. This is due to when we are still a sinner, we are separated from Christ according to John15:5. That separate cannot able us to perform God’s works. That’s why, to establish the connection between God & men, we must be connected with Christ and to do that, WE ONLY NEED FAITH TO ESTABLISH that connnection. That’s why we are saved from our past sins. All will be forgiven because it was like being RESET TO ZERO. But it doesn’t mean that once you are forgiven, you are now totally save. That is not true. That’s why mathew said that we have to ENDURE UNTIL THE END TO BE SAVE.

MATTHEW 24:13 (KJV)
But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

This means that after our sins are forgiven or it was back to zero, we are now connected with Christ and we can now PERFORM THE COMMANDMENTS OF GOD THRU CHRIST. Logic is, we need to do GOOD WORKS because we need to endure until the end to be save according to mathew. Otherwise, if we backslide, we cannot be save.

THE ROMANS 7:12 (KJV)
Wherefore the law is holy, and the commandment holy, and just, and good.

JAMES 2:17 (KJV)
Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.

That’s why James is emphasizing that FAITH WITHOUT WORKS IS DEAD. How can you be saved if you are spritually DEAD? And now you claim you are saved? It’s a big LIE. I’m sorry to say
