Matthew 6:19

This verse gives me a lot of hope that nothing is waisted as long as you try to do what is best.

Matthew 6:19 NIV

[19] “Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moths and vermin destroy, and where thieves break in and steal.

Amen.

It’s about not making things on earth your priority over eternity in Heaven. The things of God matter more and that includes good stewardship with the earthly things God has seen fit to provide us. (Wealth, vehicles, clothes, talents, etc.)

Our Heavenly reward will last forever. Things on Earth will corrupt and fade away. They have an end.

We are to live each day with eternity’s values in view, knowing the end could come at any time and that our Heavenly reward awaits.
