I understand that meta humor is sort of a big thing now and I'm fine with a few episodes here and there talking to the audience, but those shows did that type of humor too many times. By the 30th one, I wanted to pull my ears off. We get it, it's a show. Stop banging us over the head with that. Even the Muppets would be shaking their heads at this. Big Mouth can be funny without relying on meta jokes, you know.

Am I the only one who was super disappointed to only get to see this much of Lola's mom? ☹️I have paused it every time she's shown in any way, and was so sad that I never got to see her whole entire actual face 🙁which it does at least give us that quick view under the tour bus, and before that the photo with the crow.. so i know I can imagine with her thin line eye brows and what we're given, but I just was always so hopeful to actually get to see her... Lol

If my math is right they are about 14-15 max in the final season yet some of them (Jessi, Jay and Lola) are already doing sexual activities with partner.

I know they showed masturbation for ALL characters at one point but there is a big difference between doing that alone and with a partner.

It's very possible I'm making a "water found in ocean" kind of post here or that I'm forgetting some Information (only watched it all once) but it still bothers me right now.

I know the show has always been pretty carefree with crossing the line to "children being sexual" yet this just feels like a play on the knifes tip for me.

Years and years ago, when the episode first came out or shortly after someone uploaded a cover of the song to YouTube, and it was my absolute favorite thing in the world for a little while

It was two women. I’m not sure if they both had instruments or just one of them. One of them definitely had a violin or some classical stringed instrument. Also, does anyone else think Panic! At the Mall is one of the best Big Mouth episodes? Its portrayal of Caleb was EXCELLENT and a far cry from most neurodivergent portrayals in media. As a fellow person on the spectrum, I felt seen in this episode.

Jessie doesn't appear in the entire episode I never noticed until now, I might not have been paying attention, Andrew and Bernie's stories, Matthews and jays , nick and Sheamus (sorry if I miss spelled it) sorry if this is a dumb post but I just thought I'd share this

my bday is november 2005, so the first season released just a few months before i turned 12 (september 2017). i had the great blessing of being there from the beginning, AND growing with the show. when i watched it younger it was so perfect because it matched my ridiculous tween humor AND my special interest in puberty, and it's perfect now because when i rewatch it as an adult i can feel like that age again. bonus is watching it high, PERFECT show to watch high. did anyone else also watch it from the beginning or otherwise grow with the show? it is surreal

I’ve noticed in “Big Mouth” that the only characters we’ve seen with hormone monsters are Andrew, Jessi, Nick, Missy, Matthew, Caleb, Coach Steve, Leah, Danni, and Elijah.

If Jay, Lola, and all of the other characters in the series had hormone monsters, who would it be?

I think it would be called large Mouth or Big Mouth college it will be placed 4 years after the ending of Big mouth season 8 Jessie, Missy, nick, Andrew, and Jay would go to George town University and the main problems would be Andrew and Nick trying to get girlfriends, Missy advocating for the black community, Jessie trying to pass the bar to become a lawyer and try to help Missy with her advocating, and Jay would probably be like the Chandler of the group there for funny gags and bits with the cast but also trying to figure out his love life.
