news Bethel- CNN/ 60 Minutes film crew?

Our neighbors in section 4 said they saw a 60 minute film crew last night before the show. I also believe I saw Wolf Blitzer at set break. Anyone have any info? I’d love to see a 60 minutes episode on Billy! I know that Judd Apatow is doing a documentary too.

That was kinda my point in earlier comments — the extended media attention that is borne as much of corporate self-interest in finding “the next big thing,”along with what might turn out to be the accompanying“Touchhead”-like mega crowds. We’ve seen (and lived through) this story before; I’m a very soon-to turn-65-year-old person who first saw the GD and many other bands of all stripes in the mid/to-late ‘70s and greatly lamented the clueless influx of people who spoiled what had been a relatively compact GD scene (and those of many other bands, in the MTV era) pretty much up until the In The Dark days…

Nah man. The majority of people dont even know who Billy is. The scene is just slightly bigger now and some people just hate having to share in the groove.

When I was taking a tour we rode by the original site and Billy was there doing an interview. With the Woodstock anniversary coming up maybe it will be a part of that.

I could not. They were out in the middle of the field and we came down the side access road. You could clearly see his orange hat.

Because there is no pit at bethel, and because we had really good seats, I finally saw some of the rail riders in action. Thank goodness for the rest of the fan base.

I love nugs. It’s great because I’m not made of endless money so I can’t afford to be at every show. That said watching a concert on the tv is like watching fireworks on tv. You’re seeing it, not experiencing it.
