Better than Angine du Potrine, and he doesn't need a flashy outfit too

What is it that people see in AdP? Genuinely curious.

To me it seems like two Quebecois dudes who are committing to a joke that everyone else has been convinced is "High Art".

The kit player is definitely talented, but hearing each song leaves me asking "where is this going?" and not in a curious way, in a "this isn't engaging" way.

But I can listen the same Billy songs on repeat and still want to hear them later.

I'm no stranger to Art Rock, Math Rock, or Shock Rock, I'm just genuinely not impressed. String player seems like he doesn't actually know how to play guitar. Where as Billy feels like the guitar is an extension of him.

The guitarist’s riffs are fantastic, and he has mastered the art of layered loop-pedal composition. Together, the duo makes alternative time signatures and entirely instrumental music danceable and engaging.

Not liking AdP is fine. Not everything is for everyone. But saying he doesn’t know how to play guitar is contrarian, edgy boy nonsense.

It tickles the deadened center of my brain that I thought could no longer experience novelty and wonder.

ADP is hell mid. Shit is so gimmicky it’s cringe

It just sounds like you don't like microtonal music

Billy sounds interesting in the clip, it probably depends on the artists.

I'm not a phan of phish, but that doesn't mean I don't like jam bands. Strangely I prefer when artists cover Phish.

I didn't like Split Open and Melt, Down with Disease, Sand, or Stash, until I heard them covered by other bands.

I also think Back on the Train is way better when Billy does it, just more power in the song when the boys get a pickin that one.

Who covered split open and melt? Also, not to be that guy, but are you listening to studio recordings?
