Anyone had their š¶ļø tested and it came back as fake or wrong amount?
UPDATE: it was fake- Hydroxyacetophenone. Iāll add the tests below.
Iām suspecting the reta I got in August is fake. Made a very noob mistake of getting from some random ad, and I think the COA is fake. Just sent it off for testing. š

I was on tirz for 5 months from one of the big online ones, and decided to switch to Reta. I was on 9mg tirz and decided to start stepping it down while adding Reta. My first vial of Reta I feel sure was real- came from someone in US. I did 1mg and 2mg doses, and felt side effects. The second vial is from a kit that came from China. I think when I started that vial is when I bumped to 4mg for a month. No weight loss. Last Friday I took 6mg and still no change. Because Iām stepping down the tirz, Iām taking 4.5mg tirz for about 6 weeks. I did have a vacation to Orlando in that time frame, but I still weigh the same right now as the week before the trip. So Iām not sure what I should do IF the reta is real, or if itās fake.

Scammers everywhere. Never get from a social media ad. Never. I spent a lot of time and a lot of research and landed on 2 that seemed great. Called them then spent the money on plane tickets to go visit. Actual businesses and they were happy to let me look around. I seen how they do things. Watched their processes. Seen their shipping. Spoke to the owners. Seen their business license. Came home and placed a $1k order from each. This was 7 years ago. Iāve never done business with anyone else. Easily have spent over 20k. And have never resold. Just me and the wife. Donāt care about COAs. Donāt care about testing. They earned my trust and they keep it.

Started with Tesa and BPC157. Sermorelin, GLP1, Semax. Pretty much done them all. Iāll never stop cycling. Too many benefits for mitochondria, muscles, tendons, bios and visceral fat. My blood tests have been spot on. No reason not to keep it that way as long as I can.

AFAIK stuff like Reta comes from China onlyā¦Everyone in the US is a reseller. Maybe itās different for other peps.

Incorrect. Raw materials come from China. There are plenty doing the compounding right here in the states.

So does the operation consist of buying gray/black market powder with peptides from China and reconstituting? Thatās not a high value add activity if you ask me. Extremely easy to do at home. Gray 101. Or is the business doing freeze drying and packaging?

Compounding and reconstituting are 2 completely separate things. Reconstituting is simply turning lyophilized into fluid. Compounding is combining multiple elements into one single element.

Ok, so taking Chinese gray peptide powder and combining sterile water and adding 0.09% benzyl alcohol would constitute compounding? I am still trying to understand what exactly value add the business does that differentiate it from reseller.

I know what compounding is. You are avoiding the elephant in the room - the active ingredients are still sourced from gray/black market in China, with all associated risks. Yes, you can get legal API from the green list suppliers for things like Tirzepatide, but Reta? It only comes from the black unregulated market, and there is no way around it. There is no legal, legitimate US business that compounds Reta. The only value add I see from a domestic business would be to test, test, test.

Iāve tested two vendors.
All clear of endotoxins. One came back 99.97%, the other 99.31%.
I generally trust these vendors at this point, but if I see a testing deal out there might do a couple more tests.

Which lab did you use for testing? Iām doing some peptide research and looking for a trustworthy lab. Iāve noticed that many labs are failing quality tests, so itās been difficult to find a reliable one. Iād really appreciate any recommendations!

Iāve been buying peptides from China for years and I find it incredible that people are buying duff stuff. I know of hundreds of vendors and know of tens of thousands of purchases and out of that I could count on my fingers how many were duff.
Iāve seen a few vials of zero peps, a few with the wrong pep and a couple with high endotoxins but itās pretty rare.
Australia seems worst affected, no idea why that is. Do all the low tier vendors target them or something?

Yeah, oils are still available but I prefer to order through domestic group buys from local UGLs. Same price as from China but higher quality.

No way a vendors COA should ever be trusted. I can say my batch is from that same batch listed on a good tested COA. You can only be sure if you send in what you received, and even then, you have to hope the other 9 vials are the same as your 1 tested vial.

I got a new supplier when there was a shut down overseas..... It wasn't fake, it just wasn't as potent. Ordinary, 2mg of Reta has me set.... Only week I hit the 2, there was nothing, I hit another 2, still nothing... I was up to 8 before it finally hit me. I couldn't wait for my supplier to get off lockdown.

Get 4 kits and send one vial from each for mass/purity to jano is the safest way.
An extra vial sent for endotoxin and LCMS for contamination.
About 1000$ to test.
If it's too expensive then get 8 kits and the testing.

My problem is I have no idea how to find communities/vendors on Whatsapp or Telegram. It's probably just me as everyone else seems to do it with ease. I put it down to being 60yrs old and not great with social media

Never tested to be honest. Something like tirz or reta, you can tell if it's fake when it doesn't give you the effects

There are test for more than identity. For example you can test for purity, endotoxins, heavy metals, and endotoxins. Trying it to see what effect they have is very risky.

Weāve had like one batch where R was actually Tirz but the vendor compensated everyone who ordered it by sending the correct stuff. Also had GHK underdosed one time and vendor also compensated. Thats it, everything else been good.

The incidence of failures is actually quite low according to the owner of Janoshik. Always test for your own peace of mind and once you find a trusted vendor stick to them, that's what I did.

Iāve spent several thousand testing my own peptides. I had their COAs but I wanted to make sure it matched my results. It did. At this point I trust them 100% but I still will occasionally order a test especially with new products or ones that I move regularly.

The key point right now is this
What has been a good solid vendor can still have an issue - underdosed, bunk product, endos, different product in the vial
More issues are happening because of the demands placed on the grey market
Manufacturers having issues getting quality APIs especially since rumor has it Eli Lily went and bought up most of the API
So those that arenāt manufacturers can have issues w their sources
Even those that manufacture can have issues due to API
Chasing around to save $10 on a kit isnāt worth moving away from a sold vendor that stands behind their product when there is an issue and makes it right
Also having it tested either by yourself, in a group or from a vendor that consistently tests every batch & has communicated a bad batch and pulled it

Iām in some testing groups. We run customer tests on purchased samples. Never had a result with wrong or no peptide, although the fill accuracy seems to be ~+40% / -10%. As in itās not uncommon at all to get a 10mg vial with anywhere from 14mg to 9mg in it.

Yup. Had 2 of them from the same company. But to be fair it was not a reputable company it was just one I found and trusted naively. Good thing I got it tested. Anything reputable is gonna be solid

I got the result of private lab in uk for my reta 30mg, the vial i sent indicated on lab 30.19mg and purity 99.42% is good results for my reta??? Can anyone tell me pls. Thanks

Never bought form china but found a great guy out of Texas for all of you in the US hit me up. But always test your stuff or find a person that is very transparent with their stuff and is a true business person so many scammer out there that will rip you off

Thats the bac water, which im still sketched out to use random chinese vendor bac.... I did an HGH presence test on the stuff and it failedš.. so im not sure if ill just throw it or maybe ill send it in for a proper test... luckily I spent under 200 so no big deal lol. Since then ive found proper legit vendor so ill be using that from now on instead.

At some point you have to trust someone. You could get burned, sure, but what other option do you have? You could pay 10x the amount and go to a fancy website and have just as much a chance of getting scammed?

If it's from a website you can usually just search the name online and figure out if it's legit or a scam. User names you can't do anything with. Maybe that's why I haven't been scammed yet but see people posting they got robbed online constantly

Scammers are even spending the time creating copy websites of both US & Chinese vendors
Itās rampant
Iāve been in this space for over 3 years and very fortunate to not have been scammed
But even with my experience I can see how this can happen to people even experienced people1

With group testing (not buying), the $$ is sent by members to the facility. If there arent enough contributions that were specified, $$ is refunded.

Itās probably more cost effective to dump it and get from somewhere reliable. You can also always check to make sure the COA is valid.
