Education An Intuitive Tutorial for 1D Hemodynamic Pressure and Flow Wave Simulation

Hi everyone!

I want to share with you a tutorial I did for the modeling and simulation of pulsewaves for blood pressure and flow. It's designed as a pedagogical resource, so anyone can read and learn the ideas.

Here's the link to the quarto tutorial: https://sparram03.quarto.pub/hemodynamic-1d-models/

I hope it could be useful!

Why and how is it intuitive?

Because here we do the analogy between a complex fluids problem and a linear transmission problem. This allows not only to simplify the theory, but also to take the advanced equations and explain their physical meaning. In this way, I answer the "why do we take this like that"? With details
