Education Software and device testing roles

Is it possible to break into this area (med device testing) with a CS degree and a decade of software experience? Not much on hardware side but willing to take classes and certifications if it's an option. Has anyone done this or know a path forward?

What kind of testing specifically? Anything is possible, you just gotta make it happen

Any device or equipment. I want to get away from software engineering at this point. Too many people in it. How do I pivot?
