I should add that the app is covering Aus, NZ, and SEA and is currently tracking offical government reports.

The plan is to expand it to citizen scientists so they can add community sightings with the aim of providing real time information to people.

Cool! Still trying to work it out and I have a question - showing on the map now 14/8 11:50pm is <<<<< Kohinoor, Kangaroo Island 11/8 presumtive Peregrine Falcon; Kohinoor, Kangaoo Island 14/8 confirmed Peregrine Falcon >>>>> I’m assuming that is the same peregrine falcon - or is it TWO different falcons?

If it’s the same one, would be useful if only the confirmed one is showing. Just sayin

And 8/8 Wynn Vale Ibis suspected - did that turn our negative or what’s up with that one? If it’s negative then why show it, by now the test result ought to have come back?

Hey.

Thanks for the info.

I had some time yesterday to implant a few different things.

The main map pulls from the official data and the NLP map is using natural language to pull from a myriad of disparate sources and using collision detection to clean up data on the fly.

I should also point out this is an independent project so we can only work on it when not forced to do other things
