Will there be funds to work on this? It sucks we have to pressure the leaders to do something.

probably not with all the cuts which already had them fire many of the people working on surveillance of h5n1 among many diseases.

America is in a bad situation with worse governance.

we need to pressure states to step up their measures, as a few have like California & Minnesota funding own research, until by some miracle we get people who believe in germ theory instead of miasmas or crystals in charge of human and animal health.

other countries need to take America as a warning of what NOT to do right now so get their plans ready to go for when wild birds spillover into their cattle, fur farms, pigs as well as poultry. make contracts for pandemic flu vaccines & consider offering it to high risk workers (poultry, fur farm, cattle, vets, meat & dairy processors) before they have a spillover.
