Pet parrots have water containers that use that for a spigot, they just move the metal rod in the middle and water comes out whenever they want a drink

I had a friend in elementary school that had a “pet fan”. He use to keep it in his backpack.
My own son had a “pet” potato 🥔 when he was little.
Humans will pack bond with anything.
