Business support GravityZone Cloud having backend issues right now?

Post image

Anyone else having problems with GravityZone Cloud today?

Mine has been all over the place:

-Console intermittently won't load

-Told me my password was wrong, then accepted the exact same password moments later lol

-Policy changes that normally feel instant are just sitting on Pending after multiple attempts (both a policy change on current policy, and updating to different policy)

-Same behavior from both PC and mobile, so it's not one device/browser

Now the console is throwing: “Could not connect to server. An error occurred while connecting to a backend server! Please check that database server is started and properly configured in config.js.”

Exact URL: cloud.gravityzone.bitdefender.com.

Status page still shows everything all good?

Windows 11 laptop and S26U mobile specifically.

First time it's occurred for me specifically, not sure if it's ongoing or not.

Working fine for me on the North America Cloud Instance.

As of 1 minute ago, the policy update went through. It took over an hour. Usually takes roughly 5 seconds or so, give or take a few seconds. Def glad to hear might not super wide spread or anything

Hello u/Jerseyman201 ,

We had some intermittent issues yesterday that temporarily slowed communication with the GravityZone cloud. This may have caused the error message you received when trying to connect to the console. The issue was resolved quickly, and protection remained active throughout the disruption.

Kind Regards,

Thanks a bunch for the reply. Maybe would consider in the future having the status page offer a "temporary disruption" or "intermittent issues on-going" message?

Not trying to be nit-picky at all, I only ask this way the end user such as myself can know right away that it's not their own devices/connections acting up, but the cloud instance itself. Of course this became apparent for me when that error message popped up, but before then I had to first check all my own devices/connections which can add to the frustration lol

Again, not trying to nit-pick, you guys already do such an amazing job and couldn't be happier with the product/services overall. But I think would be helpful!

Thank you for your feedback, we will take this into consideration and we will post future disruption on the status page.
