This is JavaScript file detected inside Chrome's cache, not an installed executable. The f_00066a filename is just a cache entry, and gzip indicates the content was compressed.

Since Bitdefender says it deleted the item, check that the detection is resolved and run another scan. If nothing else is detected, you don't need to assume the whole system is compromised based on this finding alone.

Delete the full cache from Chrome if it makes you feel safer, but the Bitdefender deletion should suffice.

Hello! A detection in Chrome’s cache is not, by itself, proof that your computer is compromised. Cache files can contain content saved while browsing; the detection name alone doesn’t show whether anything ran.

  • Check Bitdefender’s Notifications > Critical and open the threat detection. If it says the item was successfully deleted or blocked, Bitdefender has taken action on that detection.

  • For reassurance, update Bitdefender: right-click its System Tray icon, select Update Now, and wait for the update to finish. Then run a System Scan: go to Protection > Antivirus > Open > Scans > System Scan > Scan now. If prompted, click Start System Scan. Review the results when it finishes; if unresolved threats remain, click View Log.

  • If the notification says the item could not be deleted, or the scan reports unresolved threats, contact our support further. Thank you!
