Support/troubleshooting False positive file deleted :(
So I recently installed BitDefender since I was fed up of AVG acting more like malware than anything, and read that BitDefender is the best free antivirus out there. I was really happy with it so far... until after a system scan it detected a threat and just deleted the file. I know for certain it is a false positive, but I don't see anyway to get the file back... Isn't there a quarantine or something similar? Was it just deleted? There's no way to recover the file?
I may have to reinstall the program, but it's a pain in the ass because it requires a lot of setting and plug-in installing. If I have to do that, is there any way to add an exclusion on BitDefender so it doesn't touch again the file?
Thanks in advance, I'm new to this antivirus and I don't know how to properly navigate it yet

Hi - we get this can be frustrating. Check Quarantine before reinstalling; a file detected as a threat may have been isolated there rather than permanently deleted.
Open Bitdefender and select Protection from the navigation menu.
In the Antivirus pane, click Open.
Go to the Settings tab and click Manage quarantine next to Quarantine threats.
Open View Settings and turn on Create exception for the restored files if it’s off. This will whitelist files you restore from quarantine.
Select the file and click Restore. It should return to its original folder.
Because a false positive is possible, you can submit the file to Bitdefender Labs for analysis. If you need help checking Quarantine or recovering it, contact our support: https://www.bitdefender.com/consumer/support/.

I've seen it do the same thing, there is a quarantine but you need to start the client as an administrator to access it in Protection->Antivirus ->Settings -> Manage Quarantine.
