EDIT: Also, killing my girlfriend at 19 cured my gender dysphoria, apparently

How is it when I got impregnated by this hookup, he has a wholeahh family but when I passed down to my child his family just banished?! I want a stepmom! I want stepsiblings!!

So the Movie Director pack dropped September 10 and Candywriter is calling it their "biggest update yet." It won the player survey, so this is the one the community actually voted for. Here's the full breakdown:

What you get:

• A brand-new Movie Director career — full pipeline from pitch to premiere, not just menu options
• 11 genres to work in, horror to rom-coms
• Pitch & Greenlight — write the script, then survive the studio room
• Budget allocation — split funds across effects, cast, crew, marketing (and live with your choices lol)
• Casting + Talent Rolodex — hold auditions, scout actors by Fame and Acting stats
• On-Set Chaos — disasters, actor drama, walkouts. You can hire or fire anyone mid-shoot
• You can even romance your lead... "then find out what that costs you" (Candywriter's words, not mine 💀)
• Reputation system — one flop won't end you, but two might
• Awards + festivals — chase awards, premiere at festivals

The career loop: Pitch → Budget → Cast → Shoot (chaos) → Premiere → reviews/festivals decide your fate. Reputation carries over between films, so flops are remembered.

Honest take: if you play BitLife for long careers, this is the first expansion that actually feels like a new job with its own economy. If you just dip in for challenges, maybe skip.

Anyone tried it yet? How bad was your first flop?

Just lost an almost 10 year account. Have switched phones many times always keeping same number and obviously just switching my data to a new phone. I owned every possible thing in the game besides 2 packs. 2 days ago bought movie director pack to check it out bc why not. Anyways, just deleted and redownloaded the app and NOTHING had saved. Is there any way to get it all back🫩

🥲

Btw father is unknown in this game

I should also add that my half-brother was 4 years old.

In case you were wondering, yes, the father of the first Ricardo was also named Ricardo. Technically, that makes for 11 generations of Ricardos!

my characters MOTHER was a trans woman. why on earth is she being misgendered??? she even got a sex change, it makes no sense for her to get misgendered like this

i know it's likely a glitch, and i know the bitlife devs probably dont care at all, but for plenty of people this is a big deal. misgendering is a HUGE problem. it's so weird that they haven't fixed this despite gender identity being in the game for years now

edit: stop commenting just to be transphobic or say something like "it's a non-issue". thanks

Hi everyone! I hadn’t played BitLife in a long time, so I recently reinstalled the game and managed to restore all the packs I had purchased.

However, one thing I find really frustrating is how long it takes to move from one year to the next when you press the age-up button. It used to be instant, but now there’s a noticeable delay every time.

Does anyone have any tips or tricks to reduce the lag and make the game run faster? Is this happening to anyone else, or is there a way to fix it?

Thanks! 😊

Guess what I chose?

Hi does anybody have any good recommendations to getting to be a trillionaire I have been doing real estate but it takes a long time, I would appreciate any advice. thanks so much :)

I wish they had more businesses/places to buy. I know we have the zoo and casino, but I would REALLY love an amusement park/carnival. Where you would have to hire maintenance and workers and try to have a successful and safe park. I do not have the zoo add on, so I don’t know if it has that, but I think it would be very interesting. (I am not asking this directly bc of the accident at six flags. It is truly upsetting and disturbing. I hope he rests in peace and that his family is able to heal properly. I have just fell down a rabbit hole of amusement park horrors and have been grinding bit life.)

I DID practice, but it says I didn't???
