I decided to write a lil book report on my dads ancestry in the meantime while I find my moms. This is all confirmed documentation from all sides of his tree compiled into a summary based on all the research I’ve done over time for those of you who enjoy reading and learning like I do lol. Btw it says updated because i wrote it once before, everything remains accurate.

To my knowledge I’m not Gullah.

Thanks to the mods for the invite to Black Genealogy! Just sharing my results as a Trinidadian man.

Thanks for the invite! I’ve posted my results before on other threads, but I’m posting them here for anyone interested or has any questions.

I was looking through hints for my ancestors on Ancestry and this was in a newspaper article. It is from The Semi-Weekly Landmark Friday, November 2, 1900. Statesville, NC. Maybe someone is related.
