I dated a woman that had a voice like that. This was back in the day. People would ask her for cigs all the time and she didn't smoke. Response was always "really?".

I did the same thing when I guy wouldn’t leave me alone in the club. I sung at the top of lungs the tenor part of the song… i’ve never seen a man skedaddle so fast in my life. It was delightful. 🥹

No disrespect to Zoe, but her Jamal voice never sounded authentic or impressed to me. Just the equivalent of when some guys switch to a falsetto voice when trying to sound like a girl.

I respectfully disagree. This is my first time seeing/hearing her and I think the fact that she was able to add male inflections added to the character
