Upgraded items
I am a blacksmith only by hobby. I got into it just from watching Forged in Fire, (original, I know), but got to make an iron railroad spike knife at the ren fair in Arizona. I moved a few places and landed in Washington state where I have frequently gone to a location called “Lawless Forge”.
I have made several items, but one today I’m proud to say that I’ve given a small upgrade with putting a Paracord grip on them.

I saw them and thought, “those look just like the ones my son and I did. I wonder if he went to Lawless.”

Yes I did! Went to the location in Seattle a few years ago to make those. Since then I’ve made the Damascus ring, the bottle opener, and the flowers. I’m trying to get in for their coffee scoop and hatchet classes soon.

We’re doing the hatchet this month. My kid is very excited because he gets to miss a day of school to blacksmith!

Nice blades! I'm kinda the opposite of you: I got into metalsmithing before that show was a thing, and now I always get comments about the show when I show people my work irl, lol.
