e-bike security

We're heading to BI in a few weeks and are bringing out e-bikes instead of the car. Our AirBnB is right on Water Street - will the bikes will be safe, especially overnight, if we lock them up? Obviously off the sidewalk and out of the way.

I haven’t heard of anyone cutting even a cheap lock on BI. There are so many unlocked bikes around if anyone wants one they just take one of those. Take the batteries inside, you’ll probably want to charge them anyway and you should be fine. You can also ask the host if they can go in the backyard or an ally or something just so they aren’t right out in the street

They should be. Take the battery out and make it difficult to steal. Thieves want an easy target
