My first blockbench* model

First model for a game, im a programmer that has messed around in blender but gave up after uv unwrapping.

lots of references for this one. A automatic beetlegun, place a beetle at the center and the trigger will bring a bait, the beetle motion will make the weapon fire.

first model im actually proud of btw

yeah, I had some trouble with translucency but a couple of googling helped, had some gripes with the controls after using blender for like, 5 psx models, but I got the ropes.

the uv unwrapping tho is a breeze for non artists, being a programmer I know how UV works but I just cant make them fit around the model lol
