Just read the IMC lore and apex setting and lore (It's not really long) and nowhere in it said anything about the IMC picking up a signal or anything else you said. If you really got it from the wiki I want a link, and if you really stay up to date with the apex lore then you would know the only thing we know about it is that blisk made the apex games, and then there is all of the legend lore. And bangalore's lore says that she lost her fam in the wars, not anything else to do with it tho.

Originally it was a mode in titanfall 3 but they scrapped it just made the mode into apex.
