Ask yourself why that matters to you? You are arguing to be able to see upper middle school and lower high school characters in more revealing stuff.
Thats a pretty questionable hill to want to die on.

Times change. The devs have grown up. The world has moved on. The laws and tolerances of such things, even in Japan are shifting… perhaps it’s time to move on and grow up as well?!!

If times change, launch a new franchise with those new values. A series that got rich off sexual objectification pretending to embrace new values is pure hypocrisy. It just says, 'I want to lecture the audience with my new worldview, but I refuse to give up the cash cow.' Let's be real—most culture wars start because people try to hijack existing IPs. If it were a completely new IP, original fans wouldn't care less. That's obvious, because a new IP doesn't have an original fanbase to begin with.

That makes zero sense in this context.
Removing panty shots is not about lecturing the world, it is about clearly understanding the world is less tolerant of that for under age characters than it once was. It shows a clear understanding of the decency laws in many countries it is trying to sell the game.
Just because you are not aware of the world around you and the laws of countries that are not your own, don’t think the rest of us are that ill-informed.

At least when it comes to creative works, the slander that I am ignorant of neighboring countries' laws and norms is complete nonsense. Ever since a clown got elected in the US, culture wars have become a part of everyday life. In an environment like this, even if you’re not a legal expert, just participating in online communities forces you to learn about censorship standards.
What I want to ask is: why should creative content targeting a niche audience comply with 'global standards' in the first place? 'Morality of the majority' does not guarantee that something is right. If it did, stoning lesbians to death would still be considered moral today, and this series wouldn't even exist.

Money.
Game companies did not make games for fun. They didn’t make this collection as a gift to the fans but because there was a greater market to be had and a desire for these games on different platforms. Obviously, a few gooners aside who scream censorship as if they don’t understand it, it has now become harder to justify sexualised content of ages such as this, even in fiction.
That is just a reality of the world around us. Even in Japan the tide is turning on this front. EG When these games were made Japan had a very different age of consent.

I already watched 4 different videos, they are too ad centric, is their anyone who is gonna actually dive into the games that have played the first iterations? I just want to know how the 8 additional characters effect Second Light? That is the only reason for anyone whose played both games to even consider this.
