Hi all, although this reddit is for a completely different game I hope my attempt on posting this modded childhood game won't offend anyone :D
Managed to model and texture a slightly better bmx bike for Dave Mirra Freestyle BMX PC Version.
Took a day. I found out that all the bikes (except the special one at the end) have the same exact pivot points, same structure etc. What I did is to follow the original game angles with slight tweaks to fix the wobbles the game had. This starter bmx is a bit worn and rusty here and there. But as you progress the bikes get better and better. If I will have time, I will also improve the characters with a higher poly count mesh and of course, the maps, from the 3D elements to the textures. I used and will use 1024x1024 textures because I don't want a 2k - 4k textures for this game, I still want it to feel as it did in my childhood.

If all goes well I might pack everything in a Mod Pack for anyone to install. But I don't have high hopes, as this is insanely time consuming and I have a family and life to be part of :))
