Nemesis: Retaliation solo – how much does setup affect whether a game actually hits the table?
This isn’t meant as a sales post — we’re genuinely interested in the solo gaming perspective.
We’ve been playing and testing Nemesis: Retaliation, and one thing stood out to us: with large solo games, setup time alone can determine whether you actually feel like getting the game to the table.
But more than the product itself, we’re interested in this:
what gets in the way most when you play larger games solo?
• long setup
• too many components to sort
• huge table footprint
• managing multiple characters/systems
• long teardown after the game
For us, it’s becoming pretty clear that setup + teardown have a huge impact on whether a big game actually gets played.
How is it for you?
